ĐBP - Following Directive No.84/CĐ-TTg from the Prime Minister on June 8, 2025, which calls for the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses nationwide by August 31, 2025 - two months earlier than the initial plan - Điện Biên province has embarked on a race against time with high urgency and determination.

ĐBP - In the face of increasingly complex and varied forms of natural disasters, as climate change continues to cause erratic weather patterns, the Điện Biên provincial Meteorological and Hydrological Station has been proactively implementing various measures to enhance forecasting quality, meeting the demands of the tasks at hand. This has contributed significantly to disaster prevention, ensuring national defense and security, and promoting social-economic development in the local region.

ĐBP - Tả Ló San, a village located in Sen Thượng commune, about 70 kilometers from the center of Mường Nhé district, lies at the northern tip of Điện Biên province, bordering Giang Thành district in Vân Nam, China. Due to its remote location and limited infrastructure, the Hà Nhì ethnic people in Tả Ló San still face many challenges in their daily lives. These “online doctors” are becoming increasingly common, confidently sharing experiences, offering nutritional advice, and promoting dietary supplements with catchy ads...

ĐBP - In recent years, Mường Chà district, Điện Biên province has made significant efforts to promote gender equality, particularly by empowering women in the community. With the active participation of women’s associations and local authorities, women have not only asserted their roles in the family but have also gradually contributed to the development of the socio-economic landscape, eliminated gender stereotypes, and built progressive and sustainable villages.

In the digital age, children’s exposure to smartphones, TVs, and other electronic devices is inevitable. Therefore, controlling the time spent on these devices in a balanced way, ensuring both physical and mental health while encouraging overall development, is essential and requires parental oversight, especially during the summer months.

ĐBP - Since 2019, the free screening and surgery program for children with disabilities living in difficult circumstances, including ethnic minorities and those from remote areas, has been implemented in Điện Biên province. After nearly seven years of operation, the program has brought “miracles” to many children with disabilities, giving them a brighter future.
