The Si Pa Phìn Boarding Multi-level Primary and Secondary School is the first project nationwide to be implemented following the issuance of Conclusion No.81-TB/TW by the Politburo on July 18, 2025, regarding the policy of building schools for mainland border communes. The project was built on an area of 6.88 hectares using support from Hà Nội and socialized resources, with construction having commenced on July 27, 2025.

The school includes a modern learning area with 31 classrooms, 14 specialized subject rooms, and various functional rooms. The boarding and official residence area features 120 rooms for students and 15 rooms for teachers. Furthermore, the school is equipped with full amenities such as a multi-purpose room, a cultural house, a sports field, a swimming pool, a canteen, and standard sanitary facilities. These facilities meet the requirements for a comprehensive learning and training environment for students.

In the midst of the difficult border highlands, the presence of this modern school carries a meaning that transcends a mere educational building. Not only does it create a foundation for improving the quality of teaching and learning, but it also opens a door of opportunity for ethnic minority children. This allows them to have better learning conditions and step-by-step narrows the educational gap compared to more favorable regions.

Nguyễn Quỳnh Anh, an 8th-grade student at the school, shared her deep emotions while stepping into the dream school for the first time. She expressed that the modern equipment would help her pursue her dreams, especially as she prepares for the upcoming final exams. Similarly, Hà Ngọc Anh, a 1st-grade student, innocently thanked the officials and teachers for such a large and beautiful school.

For Vàng Minh Thu, a student in class 8C1, the new school is a foundation to nurture her dream of becoming a people’s public security officer. She shared that having a boarding school means students no longer have to travel far or worry about the rain and wind, which allows them to focus entirely on their studies.

The joy was also evident on the faces of parents who attended the ceremony. Giàng A Sấu, a resident of Phi Lĩnh 2 village in Si Pa Phìn commune, expressed his excitement by stating that the villagers are very happy. He noted that having a safe boarding school where children can eat, stay, and study allows parents to feel much more secure than they did in the past when conditions were difficult.

Previously, the learning conditions for students in Si Pa Phìn commune were difficult because of scattered school sites and inconsistent facilities. Therefore, the completion of this multi-level boarding school holds special importance for the socio-economic development of the locality. Bùi Thị Hằng, the Secretary of the Si Pa Phìn commune Party Committee, affirmed that this is a strategic project that creates an important turning point for the educational cause of the commune.

The school meets immediate learning needs while contributing to the long-term training of human resources for the sustainable development goals of the locality. In the coming time, the local government will coordinate closely with the school to manage and exploit the facilities effectively while caring for the material and spiritual lives of teachers and students.

As the inauguration ceremony closed, the joy and confidence brought by the project continued to spread. Amidst the mountains and forests of Si Pa Phìn, the new school stands as a bright spot representing the deep concern of the Party, the State, and the whole society for highland education. The Si Pa Phìn school was not merely built from concrete and bricks, but from the faith, responsibility, and aspirations of the entire community. From this “dream school,” the intellectual dreams of students in the border region are being nurtured, opening up hope for a brighter future for this frontier land of the Fatherland.
