The gathering was presided over by Trần Tiến Dũng, Member of the Party Central Committee and provincial Party Secretary, along with Lê Thành Đô, Standing Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Council; Lê Văn Lương, Deputy Secretary and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, and Mùa A Vảng, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary, and Chairman of the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front.

The meeting was also attended by members of the Standing Board, Executive Board of the provincial Party Committee, and leaders from various provincial departments and sectors.

During the meeting, delegates listened to a report presented by Lê Văn Lương regarding the organization and outcomes of the 2026 Bính Ngọ Lunar New Year. The provincial People’s Committee directed a comprehensive review to closely monitor the living conditions of the people, ensuring that preferential policies for those with revolutionary merit, social protection subjects, retirees, and other vulnerable groups were implemented fully and promptly. By mobilizing the active participation of organizations, individuals, businesses, and benefactors both within and outside the province, the administration succeeded in ensuring that every citizen enjoyed a safe and warm holiday season.

The province successfully executed monthly subsidy payments for 1,007 policy-favored individuals with a total budget exceeding VND 3.5 billion. Provincial leaders also personally visited and presented provincial gifts to more than 1,300 meritorious families and policy-favored households, with total funding surpassing VND 516 million. Furthermore, through mobilized contributions from various agencies and donors, more than 45,000 gift sets were distributed to poor and near-poor households, workers, and individuals in particularly difficult circumstances across the province, with a total value of over VND 31 billion.

In the enthusiastic atmosphere of the first days of the year, provincial Party Secretary Trần Tiến Dũng extended his sincere New Year wishes for health, happiness, and the excellent completion of all assigned tasks to the entire leadership and staff of the Party committees and provincial agencies. He formally recognized and commended the efforts, sense of responsibility, and solidarity displayed by the cadre team over the past year, which served as a foundation for the province’s achievements.

Trần Tiến Dũng expressed his hope that in the new year, all agencies and units will continue to promote their traditions and significantly enhance the quality of their advisory work. He emphasized the need to focus on the synchronous and decisive implementation of established tasks to contribute to the successful completion of socio-economic development targets, the assurance of national defense and security, and the building of a strong political system in the new situation.
