Bridge between “Party’s will” and “people’s hearts”

ĐBP - Promoting the tradition of unity and connection with the people, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Điện Biên province has continuously innovated its content and operational methods, affirming its core role in building the great national unity bloc.

Facing new requirements and tasks, the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee continues to promote its position and prestige, actively contributing to the work of building the Party and the government, strengthening the people’s trust, and contributing to the successful implementation of local socio-economic development goals.

In recent years, the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee has continuously promoted its role and position within the political system, affirming itself as the center of the great national unity bloc. The provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee has proactively innovated its content and operational methods, focusing strongly on the grassroots level, and promoting its core role in communicating and mobilizing the people to properly implement the Party’s guidelines and lines, and the State’s policies and laws. It has effectively implemented patriotic emulation movements and campaigns, contributing to strengthening the people’s trust in the Party’s leadership and enhancing social consensus.

Notably, the operation of the Fatherland Front Committees since the merger and consolidation of socio-political organizations from July 1, 2025, has been ensured to be interconnected, effective, and efficient, without interruption, gradually affirming its practicality and suitability for the actual conditions. It continues to affirm the position, role, function, and tasks of the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee as a true political core, linked with the activities of political organizations in the general development context of the country and the province.

Notably, the Fatherland Front Committees at all levels and their member organizations have focused on communicating the operation of the two-level government after the merger, ensuring no areas are left vacant and no tasks are missed. They have fully implemented policies and regimes for officials, party members, civil servants, public employees, and workers affected by the organizational streamlining and merger.

At the same time, they have focused on capturing the ideological situation and public opinion, promptly analyzing and orienting so that officials, party members, and the public can work, labor, and produce with peace of mind, showing high consensus with the policy of merging the province and communes. They have strengthened information about the operation of the Điện Biên provincial government apparatus after the arrangement; reflecting the serious, synchronous progress and working atmosphere of all levels and sectors, linked with the preparation for the Party congresses at all levels for the 2025 - 2030 term, leading up to the 14th National Party Congress. Since the beginning of the year, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and its member organizations have held over 987 communication sessions with over 88,200 attendees.

In the work of social supervision and criticism, implementing democracy, and actively participating in building the Party, State, and political system, the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee has directed the implementation of reviews, grasping the situation of all classes of people and the Fatherland Front Committees’ recommendations sent to the provincial People’s Council, provincial People’s Committee, and the status of resolving those recommendations. The Fatherland Front Committees at all levels have presided over negotiations to unify with socio-political organizations at the same level on the content of social supervision and criticism for 2025. In the first 9 months of the year, the (former) Fatherland Front Committees at all levels presided over 38 supervisions. The Fatherland Front Committees and socio-political organizations at all levels organized 9 criticism sessions with 101 critical opinions.

The supervision activities of the People’s Inspection Boards and Community Investment Supervision Boards continue to improve in quality and efficiency, contributing to promoting democracy and ensuring the legitimate rights and interests of the people. The People’s Inspection Boards have conducted 50 supervisions, recommending 5 cases for handling; the Community Investment Supervision Boards organized 159 supervisions, recommending 11 cases for handling.

The provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and its member organizations at all levels continue to promote patriotic emulation movements linked to the province’s socio-economic development tasks. The focus is on the “Vietnamese People Give Priority to Using Vietnamese Goods” campaign, the “Solidarity, Creativity, Improving Productivity, Quality, Efficiency, and International Integration” emulation movement, and the “All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban centers” movement. They actively mobilize people to participate in building new rural areas.

Activities calling for and inspiring compassionate hearts and noble gestures to help the poor have spread throughout society. In the first 9 months of the year, the provincial “For the Poor” Fund Mobilization Board received VND 69,905 million and allocated VND 127,768 million. It coordinated with individuals and organizations to receive support for the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses and build great unity houses in the province. The Standing Board of the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and provincial socio-political organizations coordinated with localities to organize the allocation of support funds to implement the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses, using sources from the Vietnam National Petroleum Group and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Trade Union. In the first phase, VND 50.1 billion was allocated to support the new construction of 835 houses for poor households in the 8 (former) districts.

In particular, the work of relief and overcoming the consequences of natural disasters, storms, and floods in the province was deployed synchronously and promptly, ensuring transparency in the voluntary contributions from agencies, units, businesses, social organizations, armed forces, compatriots, officials, soldiers, and philanthropists inside and outside the province to support the people affected by natural disasters.

With a tradition of unity, a spirit of innovation, responsibility, and closeness to the people, the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee continues to be a solid bridge between the Party, the government, and the people, and is the center of the great national unity bloc.
