ĐBP - On the basis of the merger of four Party committees, Na Sang, Ma Thì Hồ, Sa Lông, and the former Mường Chà township, the new Party Committee of Na Sang commune was established, comprising 60 subordinate Party cells and committees with a total of 1,278 Party members. During the 2020-2025 term, the Na Sang commune Party Committee has demonstrated strong unity, innovation, and creativity, overcoming numerous difficulties to successfully achieve key goals in socio-economic development, national defense, security, and political system building.

ĐBP - In the early days of operating under a newly streamlined government structure, local leaders across various communes in Điện Biên province are hitting the ground running. Despite tight schedules and initial challenges, many have prioritized making their presence felt at the grassroots level: visiting villages, listening to residents, and gaining firsthand understanding of local needs. These visits are not symbolic: they lay the groundwork for concrete solutions and realistic development plans tailored to each community.

ĐBP - At the 21st session of the 15th Điện Biên provincial People’s Council, 24 important resolutions were adopted, covering various aspects such as socio-economic development, national defense and security, budget allocation, public investment, and policies on healthcare, education, and social assistance. Among them was a resolution on monthly allowances for village militia leaders and daily labor allowances for members of the militia and self-defense forces during the performance of their duties.

ĐBP - As the local government of Thanh An commune, Điện Biên province begins operating under the new two-tier administrative model (effective from July 1), the communal Party Committee is simultaneously accelerating efforts to prepare for the first-term Party Congress for the 2025-2030 tenure.

ĐBP - In line with directions from the central government and provincial authorities, the Việt Nam Fatherland Front (VFF) Committee of Điện Biên province has restructured and streamlined its organizational apparatus. This includes the provincial and grassroots-level branches of the VFF, political-social organizations, and mass associations assigned by the Party and State, aiming to improve operational efficiency in alignment with local government structures.

ĐBP - Embracing President Hồ Chí Minh’s teachings on community engagement, over the past five years (2020-2025), officers and soldiers of Điện Biên’s border guard force (BGF) have lived among locals, stayed rooted in villages, and worked closely with local authorities to implement effective grassroots-level initiatives. The “green beret’ soldiers’ practical efforts have helped communities overcome hardships, boost livelihoods, and strengthen the bond between border guards and frontier residents.

ĐBP - The Party Committee of the Điện Biên provincial Border Guard Command currently comprises 24 grassroots Party organizations, including 7 cell branches and 17 grassroots Party committees, with a total of 52 cell branches under the Party committees. The Party Committee has 713 Party members. Strengthening the leadership capacity and combat strength of grassroots Party organizations serves as a solid foundation and decisive factor in successfully fulfilling political tasks, building strong units, and ensuring Party building within the provincial Border Guard Command.

ĐBP - As the core and specialized force in managing and protecting national sovereignty and border security, the Điện Biên provincial Border Guard Command has consistently implemented a comprehensive range of professional border defense measures. It has also actively coordinated with provincial departments, sectors, and all levels of Party committees and authorities to ensure the firm protection of national borders and security.

ĐBP - Guided by the motto of “basic, practical, and solid training,” the Training and Mobility Battalion under the Điện Biên provincial Border Guard Command has been effectively training new recruits. The goal is to forge soldiers with strong political resolve, excellent technical and tactical skills, and enduring physical strength, ready to carry out all assigned missions with excellence.

ĐBP - In its efforts to promote the study and practice of Hồ Chí Minh’s thought, morality, and style, the Party Committee of the Điện Biên provincial Border Guard Command has actively implemented this directive through practical actions and initiatives closely aligned with the unit’s political tasks.

ĐBP - Nearly 2.5 tons of synthetic drugs, 1 ton of heroin, and a large number of related exhibits have been seized as part of Điện Biên province’s crackdown on drug crimes since the implementation of Directive No.36-CT/TW, issued by the Politburo on August 16, 2019, on strengthening and improving the effectiveness of drug prevention and control. These staggering figures reaffirm that the war against drug crime is as fierce and unforgiving as ever.

ĐBP - In implementing the Directive No.05-CT/TW of the Politburo on promoting the study and following of President Hồ Chí Minh’s ideology, morality, and lifestyle, the education sector in Điện Biên province has focused on innovation and quality improvement in teaching and learning. These efforts have led to a clear transformation in the mindset and moral behavior of staff and teachers, improved educational outcomes, and nurtured many exemplary role models.

ĐBP - As the rainy season peaks, remote mountainous and border areas in Điện Biên province take on a silvery hue. Torrential rains pour down relentlessly, accompanied by gusts of howling wind through the forest. Already isolated, these borderlands now feel even more distant. Yet amid the overcast skies, the green uniforms of border soldiers bring a spark of life and hope, helping locals weather the storm.

ĐBP - In implementing the two-tier local government model, Điện Biên province has reduced its number of commune-level administrative units from 129 to just 45. This significant change has caused confusion for many residents, especially as service points for administrative procedures have also been reorganized. To address this situation, the provincial Tax Department and the provincial Post Office have deployed staff to assist people and businesses at commune-level Public Administration Service Centers.

ĐBP - Following the implementation of the two-tier local government model, the Party Committee of Na Sang commune, Điện Biên province is actively preparing to organize its 1st Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term. With a proactive and determined spirit, and the engagement of the entire political system, preparations for the congress are being carried out systematically and rigorously, ensuring progress, quality, and effectiveness.

Thanks to thorough and synchronized preparation across all areas, the new system has operated smoothly from the outset, meeting the expectations of citizens, organizations, and businesses.
