ĐBP - The 2021 - 2025 term took place in the context of many difficulties due to the prolonged Covid-19 pandemic and complex natural disasters, posing many challenges to the lives of the people, especially women in remote, isolated, and border areas. In that condition, the Women’s Union of Điện Biên province promoted the spirit of solidarity, proactiveness, and creativity, sticking close to political tasks, affirming the role of representing, caring for, and protecting the legal and legitimate rights and interests of women. Thereby, spreading the aspiration to rise up and the spirit of innovation among all strata of Điện Biên women.

ĐBP - On December 26, the Điện Biên provincial Police Department organized a conference to summarize police work in 2025 and deploy the work program for 2026.

ĐBP - With the synchronous deployment of solutions ranging from improving the quality of legal aid assistants to strengthening legal dissemination in remote and isolated areas, legal aid activities in Điện Biên province are increasingly promoting their effectiveness. Thereby, this contributes to protecting the legal rights and interests of the people, while consolidating the People’s trust in the law and legal protection agencies.

ĐBP - Performing assigned tasks, recently, the team of public servants and officials seconded to work at communes in Điện Biên province has quickly approached the work, striving to complete assigned duties.

ĐBP - As the entire Party, people and armed forces nationwide are enthusiastically emulating achievements in celebration of the 14th National Party Congress, the implementation of Regulation No.08-QC/TW issued by the Secretariat is gaining strong momentum across Điện Biên province.

ĐBP - On December 24, under the chair of Lieutenant General Phạm Đức Duyên, Secretary of the Party Committee and Political Commissar of Military Region 2, the Party Committee of Military Region 2 organized an expanded conference to issue the Leadership Resolution on implementing military and defense tasks and building the Military Region Party organization in 2026.

ĐBP - In the process of socio-economic development of Điện Biên province, agriculture, rural areas, and farmers always hold a particularly important position. Practical experience shows that farmers are the direct production force, and simultaneously the decisive subjects in the efficiency of agricultural development, rural economy, and new rural construction.

ĐBP - As the final days of the lunar year arrive and red flags line the streets, images of Uncle Hồ’s soldiers are mentioned more frequently in history lessons. Against this backdrop, many schools across the province have rolled out hands-on learning models at military units. The approach aligns with education reform goals on revolutionary ideals, helping strengthen awareness, foster patriotism, and nurture civic responsibility among the younger generation.

ĐBP - In the context where the political security and social order situation in border areas holds many potential complex factors, the requirement for local armed forces is to always be in a proactive state, ready to respond to all situations. Fully aware of that, the Defensive Area 1-Mường Nhé Command has identified combat readiness training as a central, continuous task, which is both urgent in the immediate term and has long-term strategic significance in building a solid defensive area.

ĐBP - In the past term, under the leadership of the Điện Biên provincial Party Committee and the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, along with the attention and facilitation of provincial departments, branches, the Vietnam Fatherland Front, mass organizations, and authorities at all levels, combined with the solidarity and efforts of officials and union members, the activities of the Điện Biên provincial Trade Union have achieved important results.

ĐBP - Public holidays, the Lunar New Year and major political events are periods when violations of the law tend to rise, posing heightened risks to public order and security. To maintain stability across Điện Biên province, functional forces have rolled out detailed plans, strengthened coordination, deployed personnel and implemented a broad range of professional measures to proactively prevent and combat crime.

ĐBP - The election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026 - 2031 term is an important political event, demonstrating the people’s right to mastery. Facing the requirement to improve organizational quality, preparation work is being deployed in a tight, disciplined direction, upholding responsibility and substantive efficiency right from the grassroots level.

ĐBP - Performing political roles and tasks, the Điện Biên provincial Border Guard Command has deployed synchronous solutions, coordinating closely with functional forces and the people to regularly patrol and protect the border line and landmarks; ensuring security and order in border areas... contributing to bringing a peaceful life to the people and promoting local socio-economic development.

ĐBP - From a difficult highland commune of the province, facing new development requirements, the Pú Nhung Party Committee clearly identified the key task of bringing the Resolution of the Congress for the 2025 - 2030 term into life through specific, practical actions.

ĐBP - For every outstanding individual admitted to the ranks of the Communist Party of Vietnam, it is a particularly sacred milestone, imbued with pride and honor. Each new Party member is infused with renewed motivation to strive, uphold a pioneering and exemplary role, willingly take on and successfully fulfill all assigned tasks, and contribute to building an ever-stronger Party.

ĐBP - The heavy rains, flash floods, and landslides in early August caused severe damage to many communes in the province. Immediately after the floods, the Điện Biên provincial Military Command mobilized over 1,600 officers and soldiers, along with self-defense militia and border guards, to urgently reach the damaged areas, assisting in relocation, rebuilding houses, and stabilizing people’s lives.

ĐBP - In the border areas of Điện Biên province where many hardships still exist, the image of the soldier today is not only present on the front lines protecting the sovereignty and security of the Fatherland, but is also deeply imprinted in the daily lives of the people through practical social security activities.

ĐBP - Heroic and resilient in wartime, pioneering and exemplary in peacetime... are the noble qualities that make up the image of Uncle Hồ’s soldiers. This tradition remains a guiding fire today, helping the young generation arouse the will to strive in studying and training, continuing and promoting the revolutionary tradition of their forefathers in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.

ĐBP - The 14th National Party Congress is a particularly important milestone, expected to set out strategic guidelines and resolutions, leading the country into a new era - the era of the nation’s rise.

ĐBP - On December 18, Lê Văn Lương, Deputy Secretary of the Điện Biên provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, inspected the implementation progress of the Investment Project to build Si Pa Phìn Inter-level Primary and Secondary School and inspected the Envision Nậm Pồ Wind Power Plant Project and Nậm Pồ 1 Solar Power Plant Project (Si Pa Phìn commune).
