ĐBP - This morning (October 15), Party members, local authorities, armed forces, and people of all ethnic groups across Điện Biên province turned their attention to a historic event: the 15th provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term. From lowland villages to remote border areas, from Điện Biên soldiers to local youth, everyone followed the proceedings closely, placing their trust in the Congress to chart a new path of progress for Điện Biên.

ĐBP - In an atmosphere of excitement and confidence looking towards the 14th National Party Congress, our entire Party, people, and army are looking back at the five-year journey of implementing the 13th Party Congress Resolution, a term that has marked the nation’s strong and comprehensive development.

ĐBP - This morning (October 15), at the provincial Conference and Culture Center, the 15th Congress of the Điện Biên provincial Party Committee for the 2025 - 2030 term was solemnly opened with the participation of 358 official delegates representing over 49,000 Party members, symbolizing the will, wisdom, and strength of unity of the entire Party Committee.

ĐBP - The flash floods and landslides that struck in early August caused severe damage to housing and vital infrastructure, including schools, water supply systems, and irrigation works. In response, the Điện Biên provincial People’s Committee promptly allocated recovery funds and directed relevant departments and units to coordinate with local authorities to implement resettlement projects, repair works, and infrastructure restoration.

ĐBP - The movement to study and follow the ideology, morality, and style of President Hồ Chí Minh has become a regular practice deeply rooted across the Party and among the people of Điện Biên province. Through creative and practical approaches tailored to local realities, the movement has made significant contributions to building a clean and strong Party, promoting socio-economic development, and strengthening national defense and security.

ĐBP - On the morning of October 13, at the Điện Biên provincial Conference and Culture Center, the Subcommittee for Dissemination and Ceremonies for the 15th Điện Biên provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030, held the opening ceremony for the Press Center serving the Congress.

ĐBP - During the 2020- 2025 term, Điện Biên province faced complex global and regional developments, including the COVID-19 pandemic, natural disasters, and climate change, all of which had far-reaching impacts on every aspect of life. ĐBP - On October 9, a delegation from Oudomxay province of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, led by comrade Vongsavanh Saynhavong, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Governor of Oudomxay Province, visited Điện Biên to exchange experiences on decentralization, the establishment of commune-level administrative units, and the operation and management of public administrative service centers.
