Standing Board of Điện Biên Provincial People’s Council convenes February meeting

ĐBP - On the morning of February 10, the Standing Board of the Điện Biên Provincial People’s Council held its first meeting for February, chaired by Chairman Lò Văn Phương.

The meeting provided opinions on several contents and the supervision program of the provincial People’s Council for the upcoming period.

The agenda included announcements on the content, timing, and preparation assignment for the 18th session (special session) of the 15th provincial People’s Council for the term 2021-2026; and contribution of opinions to the supervision outline on “The implementation of policies and laws on investment, management, and provision of domestic water in Điện Biên Province, 2021-2024”.

Accordingly, the 18th session will focus on considering two proposals and draft resolutions on: Deciding the establishment and dissolution of specialized agencies under the provincial People’s Committee; and adjusting the public employee payroll in agencies under the People’s Council and People’s Committee at the provincial and district levels in Điện Biên in 2025. The session is expected to take place on February 19, 2025.

Delegates agreed on the prepared contents for the 18th session of the 15th provincial People’s Council, term 2021-2026.

Additionally, Council Chairman Lò Văn Phương requested the drafting unit to research and revise the supervision outline to ensure its feasibility and effectiveness.
