Điện Biên Province’s Party agencies roll out key tasks for 2025

ĐBP - On the morning of January 15, the Standing Board of the Điện Biên Province’s Party Committee held a conference to review performance of the provincial Party agencies in 2024 and deploy key tasks for 2025.

In 2024, the Điện Biên Province’s Party agencies further focused on the province’s political tasks and Party Central Committee’s directions to effectively build and implement the set programs and plans; proactively made proposals to the provincial Party Committee and the Standing Board of the provincial Party Committee to comprehensively lead and direct the work of building the Party and the political system in the province.

Notably, the agencies proposed the provincial Party Committee to direct the organization of activities to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Điện Biên Phủ Victory, the 115th anniversary of the province’s establishment, and the 75th anniversary of the founding of the provincial Party Committee.   

Meanwhile, the agencies proactively coordinated with local sectors at all levels to carry out their assigned tasks; actively instructed the implementation of directives, resolutions, and conclusions from the Party Central Committee and the province at Party committees, Party organizations, and localities in the province.

The agencies continued to propose the implementation of Party building work and of Directive No.35-CT/TW, dated June 14, 2024, by the Politburo regarding the congresses of Party committees at all levels, leading up to the 14th National Congress of the Party.

At the same time, the agencies made efforts to strengthen the organizational structure and personnel, in combination with streamlining personnel and enhancing the quality of public officials.

At the conference, delegates focused on discussing the initiative and preparation for the work of streamlining the apparatus according to the direction of the Party Central Committee, particularly concentrating on the merger of the provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Information and Education and Commission for Mass Mobilization, while ensuring appropriate policies for officials, civil servants, and public employees after conducting the work.

Delegates also discussed preparations for the Party congress of the agencies scheduled to merge under the Party Committee of Agencies and Enterprises in the province, as well as the coordination among advisory divisions within the provincial Party agencies.

In addition, delegates expressed their concerns about equipment and machinery of the provincial General Hospital to support the examination, treatment and healthcare for officials, as well as investment in infrastructure for the provincial Political School.

Concluding the conference, Mr. Mùa A Sơn, Standing Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee acknowledged and highly appreciated the achievements of the provincial Party agencies in 2024.

He suggested that the provincial Party agencies proactively review and update new data and results in implementing their tasks to complete a report in 2024. He also proposed that the provincial Party agencies should proactively develop plans to organize the staff apparatus; well prepare for the merger and streamlining process and the organization of the Party congress for the agencies belong to the Party Committee of Agencies and Enterprises in the province, and the work of streamlining the apparatus according to the direction of the Party Central Committee and the province.

Meanwhile, he asked the agencies to focus on disseminating and thoroughly grasping the restructuring of the political system at the provincial and district levels according to Resolution No.18-NQ/TW, issued by the 12th Party Central Committee in 2017.

Mr. Mùa A Sơn assigned specific tasks to each agency within the provincial Party bloc to focus on performing tasks in 2025.
