Điện Biên Phủ City’s Party Committee meets Party members with 60-year membership

ĐBP - On the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) (February 3, 1930-2025), the Điện Biên Phủ City’s Party Committee held a meeting for Party members who received 60-year Party membership badges.

Attending the meeting included: Mr. Trần Quốc Cường, Member of the Central Party Committee and Secretary of the Điện Biên Province’s Party Committee; Mr. Lê Thành Đô, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Điện Biên Province; and Mr. Lò Văn Phương, Chairman of the People’s Council of Điện Biên Province; among others.

At the meeting, the CPV’s revolutionary traditions as well as glorious milestones in the past 95 years, as well as development of the Điện Biên Phủ City’s Party Committee over the past 32 years.

Reportedly, after 32 years of development, the Điện Biên Phủ City’s Party Committee has undergone 7 congresses and has increasingly grown considerably. As of now, the Điện Biên Phủ City’s Party Committee has 49 branches and affiliated Party organizations, with over 7,780 Party members. The Party organizations at all levels in the city have been strengthened and consolidated; and have operated effectively and systematically.

Meanwhile, the Executive Committee of the Party Committee of the city in various terms has effectively directed the implementation of economic, cultural, social, and national defense-security development goals and tasks; as well as building the Party and political system in accordance with resolutions set forth by the Congress of the Party Committee.

In his speech, Mr. Trần Quốc Cường expressed his appreciation and sincere thanks to generations of Party members, particularly those who were presented with badges for their membership of 60 years or more. They have dedicated their strength and passion as communists to the glorious revolutionary cause of the country in general, contributing beautifying the heroic history of the Party and the nation. They have actively participated in rebuilding the country after the war, contributed to the renewal process, and developed the socio-economy, successfully completing all tasks assigned by the Party and the people.

At the same time, he hoped that all veteran Party members will always be exemplary communist soldiers, inspiring and giving strength to generations of officials and Party members in the Party Committee of Điện Biên Phủ City, especially young members, so that they are determined to gain more successes, contributing to the rapid, comprehensive, and sustainable development of Điện Biên Province, with the goal of “Wealthy people, strong nation, democracy, fairness, and civilization”.

At the meeting, the Điện Biên Phủ City’s Party Committee presented 52 gifts to veteran Party members as a tribute to their significant contribution to the glorious history of 95 years of the CPV’s establishment and development, as well as 32-year growth of the city’s Party Committee.
