ĐBP - In implementing the project “Women’s start-up period 2017-2025”, the Women’s Union of Tủa Chùa district, Điện Biên province has organized various programs and activities to support and encourage women in starting their own businesses. These efforts have helped to promote the strengths and expertise of union members, enabling women to develop economically.

ĐBP - As a border region in the far west of the country, with challenging transportation and mountainous terrain, Điện Biên province faces significant obstacles in attracting investment and promoting socio-economic development.

ĐBP - Acting as a bridge between the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies (VBSP) and residents, Mường Ảng district (Điện Biên province)’s savings and loan teams (SLTs) serve as a vital channel for capital allocation, helping individuals access funds and utilize them effectively. Through these teams, social policy credit has been successfully brought into play, ensuring the quality of State-funded credit programs within the district.

ĐBP - Since the end of 2024, functional agencies and local authorities have identified eight deforestation cases in Pá Chả village, Mường Pồn commune (Điện Biên district, Điện Biên province), with a total encroached area exceeding 2 hectares of protected forest.

ĐBP - The Coffee and OCOP Products Exhibition Fair took place from March 9-13, as part of the 9th Buôn Ma Thuột Coffee Festival in 2025, in Buôn Ma Thuột city, Đắk Lắk province. Điện Biên province participated in the event with three booths showcasing local products.

ĐBP - Monitoring and supervising the implementation of Forest Environmental Service (FES) Payment is one of the key tasks to ensure that State’s policies are effectively carried out, leading to significant results and contributing to improving the livelihoods of local people. Recognizing its importance, in recent years, the Forest Protection and Development Fund of Điện Biên province has focused on carrying out effective supervision, especially regarding the management and use of FES funds by forest owners.

ĐBP - As one of the four socio-political organizations entrusted with capital by the Social Policy Bank (SPB) to provide loans to poor households and other policy beneficiaries, chapters of the Youth Union at all levels in Điện Biên province has promoted and facilitated access to preferential credit for its members to develop production, business, and entrepreneurship.
