2025 Viettel Cup pickleball tourney held in Điện Biên

ĐBP - On the morning of February 20, the Điện Biên Provincial Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, in collaboration with Viettel Điện Biên, organized the 2025 Viettel Cup Pickleball Tournament.

The event draws over 400 athletes representing 55 delegations from various departments, sectors, armed forces, and pickleball clubs across the province.

The participants will compete in 13 events, including Men’s and Women’s Leadership Doubles, Men’s and Women’s Division Head Doubles, and Men’s and Women’s Amateur Doubles, among others.

The organizing panel presents flowers and commemorative flags to participating delegations.

The 2025 Viettel Cup Pickleball Tournament is a meaningful event celebrating the 95th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - 2025), as well as welcoming the Party Congress at all levels and commemorating the 50th anniversary of Southern Liberation and National Unification Day (April 30, 1975 - 2025).

The organizing panel presents flowers to the tournament’s sponsors.

Besides competition, the tournament provides an opportunity for athletes and clubs to exchange experiences, improve their skills, and strengthen friendship.

Moreover, it serves as a platform to further promote and develop pickleball sports in Điện Biên, while also encouraging physical training activities in the spirit of President Hồ Chí Minh’s call for fitness and health improvement.

The 2025 Viettel Cup Pickleball Tournament will take place from February 20 to February 23 at the cluster of eight pickleball courts behind the provincial Multi-Purpose Gymnasium.
