In 2025, Điện Biên Vocational College plans to enroll 2,305 students, including 255 for college-level programs, 450 for intermediate-level programs, and 1,600 for elementary-level and short-term training. The college continues to offer training in a variety of fields aligned with social demand, such as industrial electricity, automotive technology, and information technology, providing learners with options that match current market trends.
Although the college is in the process of merging to become Điện Biên College, its enrollment efforts remain active and uninterrupted to ensure students’ right to education is not affected. From the beginning of the year, the school has proactively coordinated with the provincial Department of Education and Training and secondary and high schools to organize in-person enrollment consultations. It has established three mobile advisory teams, sending staff and teachers to more than 100 schools across the province to provide information on training programs, admission procedures, and post-graduation opportunities, while answering students’ questions about vocational education benefits, scholarships, preferential policies, and dormitory support.

The school has also launched an internal initiative encouraging all current students to become enrollment ambassadors by informing their peers about the school’s programs. It actively promotes its offerings via its website, official fanpage, mass media, and job fairs to ensure prospective students have timely and complete access to information about enrollment, training fields, and student support policies. The college offers both online and in-person registration to simplify the process and reach a wider group of learners.
Thanks to its diversified enrollment strategies, Điện Biên Vocational College has so far received 264 applications for intermediate and college-level programs. It has opened two intermediate-level classes in office informatics and business accounting in Tuần Giáo commune, enrolling a total of 66 students.
According to Dr. Đoàn Thanh Quỳnh, Rector of Điện Biên Vocational College, the institution has seen improved infrastructure and education quality in recent years, and the employment rate among graduates remains high. In 2024, most graduates secured jobs in their respective fields, with monthly salaries ranging from VND 3 to 8 million. He emphasized that enrollment work is not just about collecting applications, but about advising, persuading, and accompanying students in making the right career choices. This is why the college continues to earn the trust and choice of many students across the province.
Điện Biên College of Economics and Technology is also actively engaged in its enrollment campaign. Since early 2025, the college has issued a detailed enrollment plan and formed five mobile advisory teams to visit schools and provide career orientation for ninth- and twelfth-grade students across the province. Alongside in-person consultation, the college promotes its programs via its website, Zalo, Facebook fanpage, and TikTok, making it easier for students and parents to access information on study fields, admission conditions, job opportunities, and tuition support policies.
For the 2025-2026 academic year, the college began accepting applications on March 3, 2025. It has been allocated 100 college-level admission slots across 10 vocational fields, including accounting, information technology, crop science, animal husbandry, land management, supermarket sales, and banking and finance. Additionally, it will offer 380 intermediate-level slots in 14 vocational fields. Compared to the previous academic year, the school’s enrollment quota has increased by approximately 45%. With thorough preparation and active innovation, the school hopes to attract more candidates, especially from remote and mountainous areas, encouraging students to choose careers suited to their abilities and labor market needs.
Thanks to proactive innovation in communication, consultation, enrollment methods, and improvements in training quality and job placement, vocational colleges in the province are affirming their position as trusted institutions. They continue to meet the demand for qualified human resources in line with today’s labor market expectations.
