ĐBP - Each new school year, the collection of so-called “voluntary” contributions once again becomes a hot topic that draws wide attention from parents. In Điện Biên province, some schools have decided to stop collecting the parents’ association fund, a move that has received strong support and agreement from many parents.

ĐBP - Thanks to investment and attention from the central and provincial governments, along with the sector’s determination to innovate, Điện Biên’s healthcare system has made significant progress in medical examination and treatment.

ĐBP - In recent times, many localities across the province have worked closely with law-enforcement agencies to intensify public awareness campaigns, encouraging residents to voluntarily hand over weapons, explosives, and support tools (WES). These efforts aim to create “weapon-free areas,” ensuring community safety and peace. The determined involvement of authorities at all levels has helped prevent violations and protect the well-being of citizens.

On the wall, resident Mùa A Minh has already hung a framed portrait of President Hồ Chí Minh in the most honored spot, as a gesture of gratitude. His wife is busy sweeping and arranging belongings, preparing to move into their new home.

ĐBP - Điện Biên province currently has more than 60,000 elderly people, a vulnerable group due to weakened immune systems and the prevalence of chronic diseases.

ĐBP - According to data from the Điện Biên Statistics Office, from November 15, 2024, to July 14, 2025, the province recorded 14 fire incidents, a 75% increase compared to the same period last year, with total property damage estimated at over VND 2.5 billion (up 76.14%). On average, Điện Biên has experienced two fires per month in the first eight months of 2025. The main causes were identified as carelessness in using open flames and electrical equipment malfunctions.

Therefore, each individual should use these platforms positively to spread humanistic values, inspire others, and build a healthy and civilized online community.

ĐBP - The risk of fires and explosions at warehouses and production workshops remains a constant threat, underscoring the need for stronger prevention, inspections, and enforcement from authorities, as well as greater compliance from businesses and household operations.

In such places, children not only learn math, literature, and other subjects but also practice life skills, are respected and listened to, and are encouraged to express themselves.

However, some students still lack awareness and responsibility in following traffic rules, making these vehicles a potential safety risk. To minimize accidents, in addition to inspections and enforcement by authorities, schools and parents need to work closely together on communication and education to build traffic safety awareness among students.

ĐBP - As the top-tier medical facility of Điện Biên province, the provincial General Hospital has consistently focused on improving the quality of medical examination and treatment while developing modern, specialized techniques.

ĐBP - Conflicts in marriage or disputes in community life, if not resolved in time, can easily lead to division and complicate security and order. Reality in Điện Biên shows that grassroots mediation teams have played an important role by intervening early, helping to untangle conflicts from the start, thereby contributing to social stability and strengthening people’s trust in local authorities.

ĐBP - The 2025-2026 school year marks a turning point in Vietnam’s education sector, as students from preschool to high school are now fully exempted from tuition fees. For Điện Biên, a mountainous border province that still faces many difficulties, this policy has lifted a burden for countless families, opened up equal learning opportunities, and planted hope and confidence in the future generation.
