ĐBP – The sub-committee in charge of documents for the 15th Điện Biên Provincial Party Congress of the 2025-2030 tenure held its first meeting on Friday to discuss major issues.

ĐBP - Leaders of Điện Biên Province convened a meeting on Friday morning to respond to Prime Minister Phạm Minh Chính's emergency directive concerning Super Typhoon Yagi.

ĐBP – Blessed with a cool climate, the Thai ethnic people of Hột Village in Mường Đun Commune, Tủa Chùa District, Điện Biên Province, have diversified their farming activities by adopting silkworm farming as a supplementary occupation. ĐBP - The Party Standing Committee of Điện Biên Province held a working session with the Party Standing Committee of Điện Biên District on Wednesday afternoon to assess the district's political achievements and establish priorities for the remainder of the 2020-25 term. The meeting was chaired by Trần Quốc Cường, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Member of the Party Central Committee, alongside Permanent Deputy Secretary Mùa A Sơn and Provincial People's Committee Chairman Lê Thành Đô.

ĐBP - For centuries, the Dao people of Huổi Só Commune in Điện Biên Province's Tủa Chùa District have safeguarded their rich cultural heritage, including their unique attire, rituals, and village customs. Among these traditions, the Tủ Cải or cấp sắc (maturity ritual) stands out as a significant rite of passage for Dao men. In the Dao language, "Tủ" means to report, while "Cải" signifies a name.

ĐBP – The Điện Biên Provincial People's Committee inaugurated the provincial surveillance camera system on Wednesday, marking its official operation starting from August 29. The event was attended by Trần Quốc Cường, Party Central Committee member and Provincial Party Secretary; Lê Thành Đô, Deputy Provincial Party Secretary and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; and Giàng Thị Hoa, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council, who collectively pressed the button to launch the system.

ĐBP – Deputy Secretary of the Điện Biên Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Lê Thành Đô has directed relevant agencies and units to urgently complete the construction of the Hà Nội – Điện Biên Phủ Primary School project.

ĐIỆN BIÊN — Trần Quốc Cường, Member of the Party Central Committee, and Secretary of Điện Biên Provincial Party Committee, chaired a meeting on Tuesday to hear the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee report on the progress of implementing several important projects and activities in the field of culture and historical relics.

ĐBP – Vice Chairman of the Điện Biên Provincial People's Committee Lò Văn Tiến requested that the Steering Committee for the provincial Congress of Ethnic Minorities continue to work closely with the provincial Committee for Ethnic Minority Affairs to ensure thorough preparation for the 4th Provincial Congress of Ethnic Minorities in 2024. Tiến, who is also head of the Steering Committee, made this request while presiding over a meeting to review and implement the congress preparations on Tuesday.

On the afternoon of August 23, the Provincial Party Committee held a conference with key provincial cadres, members of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, and the Provincial Party Standing Committee to carry out the process of nominating personnel for the additional election of members to the Provincial Party Executive Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
