Điện Biên leader visits local war invalids

ĐBP – Chairman of the Điện Biên Province People’s Committee Lê Thành Đô expressed his deep gratitude to the sacrifices and contributions of the wounded and sick soldiers in the struggle for national liberation, nation-building, and defence during his visits to war invalids in Điện Biên Province on Sunday.

The visit was made on the occasion of the 77th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27).

During his visit to the war invalids in Điện Biên Phủ City, the chairman Đô presented gifts to two war invalids in Noong Bua ward and expressed his deep gratitude to their sacrifices and contributions to the revolution.

He encouraged the war invalids to continue promoting the revolutionary tradition and set an example for their descendants in building prosperous and happy lives.

The chairman also urged local authorities to maintain their focus and effectively implement the policies for those who have contributed to the community.
