Điện Biên orders civilized, safe, and economical lifestyle in festive activities

ĐBP - The Điện Biên Provincial People’s Committee has issued a document requesting departments, sectors, localities, and the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee to strictly implement directives ensuring civilized, safe, and economical practices during festive activities after the Lunar New Year (Tết) holiday and Spring Festivals in 2025.

Accordingly, local agencies and units must strengthen State management of beliefs, religions, and festivals, particularly in promoting and guiding compliance with laws regulating these activities. At the same time, businesses must publicly display prices, ensure product and service quality, and refrain from exploiting festivals for profit.

Civil servants must adhere to administrative discipline, avoiding festival-related activities during work hours. Agencies and organizations are responsible for environmental protection, ensuring food safety, preventing waste, and maintaining security and order in festival areas.

The provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and other organizations will promote civilized, safe, and healthy practices in religious and festive activities.

Meanwhile, functional forces will guarantee traffic safety and fire prevention at areas where festivals are hosted in, facilitating a convenient and enjoyable experience for locals and tourists.
