Ban flower festival to bring beauty to the mountain city
ĐBP - As National Tourism Year – Điện Biên Phủ 2024 unfolds with a plethora of cultural, tourist, and sports events across the province, the eagerly awaited Ban Flower Festival takes center stage. This annual cultural extravaganza, emblematic of Điện Biên's rich heritage, is scheduled for mid-March.
With just a few days remaining until the festival, signs of anticipation abound. Along the main thoroughfares of Điện Biên Phủ City and even on the rugged slopes, the ban trees shed their yellowing leaves to make way for the emergence of delicate blue buds and pristine white blossoms.
Though still in its infancy, the season has already enticed numerous young revelers to don their finest attire and venture out for picturesque photo opportunities amidst the blooming ban flowers. As the banyan trees shed their old foliage and don their new mantle of snow-white blooms, the festive spirit begins to permeate the air.
The Ban Flower Festival promises a vibrant celebration, epitomizing the cultural vibrancy of Điện Biên's highland terrain in the Northwest. Each delicate petal sways gracefully in the breeze, akin to the elegant dresses adorning the local ladies, beckoning visitors from far and wide to immerse themselves in the charm of Điện Biên.
