They advocated for enhancements to both road infrastructure and the landmark area to promote peaceful, cooperative border relations and boost tourism.

Additionally, the group made a compassionate gesture by presenting gifts to the soldiers stationed at the A Pa Chải border guard station, further emphasizing the spirit of friendship and cooperation among the nations.

The A Pa Chải landmark, known as Milestone 0, marks the tri-border junction of Việt Nam, Laos, and China.

Installed in 2005 by agreement between the three countries, this granite marker stands two meters tall, with each of its three sides dedicated to one of the nations, featuring information in the respective languages and national emblems.
