ĐBP - Digital transformation is spreading strongly to all areas of life, and putting local agricultural products on e-commerce (e-commerce) platforms has become an inevitable direction to expand markets and enhance product value. The Điện Biên provincial Post Office has pioneered the application of digital technology to promote and sell agricultural products.

ĐBP - In recent times, along with historical tourism, Điện Biên province has promoted tourism development linked with nature conservation and indigenous culture. Many models of community tourism, eco-tourism, and agro-tourism in an environmentally friendly direction are being implemented, both attracting tourists and creating livelihoods for local people.

ĐBP - The seasonal transition is a period when infectious diseases such as bacillary dysentery, hand-foot-and-mouth disease, dengue fever, seasonal influenza, chickenpox, etc., are at high risk of outbreak, especially in collective environments like schools. Clearly aware of this, educational institutions in the province have been proactively implementing many synchronous solutions to protect students’ health and build a safe, clean, and friendly learning environment.

ĐBP - In recent years, heavy rains and floods have caused severe damage, with many families losing their homes and agricultural land, forced to live in temporary shelters. Despite the local government’s efforts to implement relocation and resettlement projects, hundreds of households are still situated in high-risk areas. This situation calls for more comprehensive and sustainable solutions from local authorities and relevant agencies.

ĐBP - Promoting the tradition of unity and connection with the people, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Điện Biên province has continuously innovated its content and operational methods, affirming its core role in building the great national unity bloc.

ĐBP - Implementing the two-level local government model, the (new) Pú Nhung commune was merged from three (former) communes: Pú Nhung, Rạng Đông, and Ta Ma. Carrying out the Resolution of the 1st commune Party Congress for the 2025 - 2030 term, the Party Committee, government, and ethnic peoples in the commune are gradually turning guidelines and orientations into concrete actions, awakening potential and internal strength for green and sustainable development.

ĐBP - The selection and calling of citizens for enlistment is an important political task, demonstrating the responsibility of each locality in building an all-people national defense. With the motto “recruit one, be sure of that one,” localities in the province have completed the 2026 preliminary screening phase in a strict, serious, and regulation-compliant manner.

ĐBP - 2025 is the final year of implementing the 2021 - 2025 Socio-Economic Development Plan, and also a pivotal year opening a new development stage. In this context, along with the determination to comprehensively complete the targets of the 14th provincial Party Congress Resolution, Điện Biên is facing many challenges to ensure its GRDP growth rate reaches the target of over 10.5%.

ĐBP - On the afternoon of November 5, Nậm Kè commune organized the traditional Cockscomb Flower Festival of the Cống ethnic group in Nậm Kè village.

ĐBP - Developing the fruit tree cultivation area is one of the appropriate directions to improve economic efficiency and exploit the locality’s potential and strengths in agricultural production. However, the consumer market for these products still faces many difficulties, prices are unstable, and the “good harvest, low price” situation often occurs.

ĐBP - Eco-tourism is becoming a new direction for Điện Biên. Not just sightseeing and taking photos, eco-tourism brings tourists closer to nature, indigenous culture, and an awareness of environmental preservation.
