Điện Biên leader extends Tết greetings in Điện Biên Phủ City

ĐBP - On January 16, a delegation of Điện Biên Province, led by Mr. Lê Thành Đô, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, visited and extended greetings to several agencies, units, and policy families in Điện Biên Phủ City on the occasion of the upcoming 2025 Lunar New Year (Tết) holiday.

While visiting the provincial Border Guard Command and the provincial General Hospital, Mr. Lê Thành Đô recognized and commended the efforts and dedication of the officers, soldiers, and medical professionals over the past year. As the 2025 Tết holiday approaches, he urged them to continue fostering solidarity, upholding their achievements, and accomplishing their professional duties. He emphasized the importance of enhancing responsiveness, prediction ability, and effectively addressing any arising situations. Special attention should be given to improving healthcare services, especially for patients who cannot return home for the holiday.

Conveying Tết greetings to the staff and workers of the Điện Biên Water Supply Joint Stock Company, Mr. Lê Thành Đô encouraged them to further ensure adequate water supply and quality. He also stressed the importance of maintaining emergency response teams to solve issues promptly, guaranteeing clean water for the community to enjoy a joyful and festive Tết holiday.

During his visits to the families of Mr. Trần Anh Dũng, a war veteran; Ms. Nguyễn Thị Điểm, widow of martyr Hoàng Văn Thái (Him Lam Ward), and two Điện Biên veterans, Mr. Trần Đình Đường and Mr. Bùi Văn Đáp (both residing in Mường Thanh Ward), Mr. Lê Thành Đô kindly inquired after their health, economic conditions, and extended his wishes for a warm and happy Tết holiday.
