ĐBP - On the afternoon of March 13, Secretary of the Điện Biên provincial Party Committee Trần Quốc Cường hosted a reception for a delegation from Saint Petersburg of the Russian Federation, led by Kalganov Vyacheslav Gennadievic, Deputy Chairman of the Saint Petersburg Committee for External Relations.

ĐBP - On February 11, at the Điện Biên Provincial Center for Continuing Education, the provincial Department of Education and Training held the opening ceremony for a training course for students from Phongsaly, Udomxay, and Luang Prabang provinces of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic for the 2024-2025 academic year.

ĐBP - The year of 2024 marked a successful period in Điện Biên Province’s foreign relations, with significant progress in expanding international partnerships and promoting the province’s image on the global stage.

Continuing the journey of gratitude on the occasion of the 76th anniversary of the War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947-2023), on July 22, the Vice Chairman of the Dien Bien People's Committee Mr. Vu A Bang and the delegation respectfully offered flowers and incense, expressing deep gratitude for the great contributions of the heroes and martyrs who sacrificed at Truong Son National Martyrs Cemetery (Ben Tat hills, Vinh Truong commune, Gio Linh district, Quang Tri province) and National Martyr’s Cemetery Road 9 (ward No.4, Dong Ha city, Quang Tri province).

On the afternoon of May 29, Mr. Tran Quoc Cuong, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee had a meeting with the delegation of the Consulate General of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in Luang Prabang; representatives of the two provinces of Luang Prabang and Phoongsaly (Lao PDR); Vietnam Business Association in Northern Laos and Dien Bien Office of Industry and Trade in Luang Prabang. Attending the meeting were representatives of leaders of departments, branches and localities in the province.
