For the Vietnamese language course in the 2024-2025 academic year, 16 Lao students will undergo six months of intensive Vietnamese language training.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Phạm Đức Toàn emphasized that for more than 20 years, the training of human resources under the cooperation program between Điện Biên Province and the Northern Lao provinces has been a key political mission of the Vietnamese province.

To ensure the best possible outcomes for the training and education program, he urged relevant departments and agencies in Điện Biên Province to make every effort to provide adequate accommodations, meals, and study conditions for the Lao students, as well as to ensure the quality of teaching, training sessions, and practical field experiences.

Welcoming the delegation of officials and students from the Northern Lao provinces, he expressed his hope that the students would gain essential knowledge and skills in the Vietnamese language, enabling them to communicate effectively in academic and professional settings. This, he noted, would enhance international cooperation efforts in various sectors.
