Điện Biên children receive gifts and encouragement from Labour Ministry delegation

ĐBP - On the afternoon of 28 October, a delegation from the Ministry of Labour, Invalids, and Social Affairs, led by Deputy Minister Nguyễn Thị Hà, visited the Điện Biên Phủ SOS Children’s Village and the provincial general social protection centre in Điện Biên Province.

Accompanied by Vừ A Bằng, Deputy Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, the delegation presented gifts to the children.

During the visit, Deputy Minister Hà offered words of encouragement and support, wishing the children health and success. In her remarks, she urged those facing hardships to persevere, excel in their studies, and work towards a brighter future. She encouraged the children to carry forward the legacy of those who have contributed to the homeland's prosperity.

The Deputy Minister also commended Điện Biên Province’s achievements in child care and protection, urging local authorities to continue mobilising resources to support those in challenging circumstances. She expressed hope that staff at these facilities would maintain their dedication to nurturing and educating the children, fostering an environment that supports both their physical and mental development.

Earlier in the day, Deputy Minister Hà and the delegation laid flowers and incense at the Điện Biên Phủ Battlefield Martyrs’ Memorial and the A1 Martyrs’ Cemetery, paying tribute to the nation’s fallen heroes.
