The Subcommittee was established by Decision No 4896-QĐ/TU on August 2, 2024 by the Điện Biên Provincial Party Committee, and consists of 27 members, with Secretary Trần Quốc Cường as its head.
Its task is to assist the Điện Biên Provincial Party Standing Committee and Provincial Party Executive Committee in drafting and gathering feedback on the political report, the self-assessment report of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, the draft resolution for the 15th Provincial Party Congress, and other documents for the Congress for the 2025-2030 term.
During the meeting, delegates provided input on the working regulations, the work plan of the Subcommittee, and the assisting teams for the upcoming 15th Provincial Party Congress.
Discussions focused on reviewing timelines in the plan, creating detailed outlines to assess the implementation of specialised resolutions, and seeking feedback from the Provincial National Assembly delegation on the content of the documents. Guidance from the Provincial Party Committee was also requested to help localities and units draft their documents.
Regarding the preliminary outline of the political report to be presented at the 15th Provincial Party Congress, delegates concentrated on reviewing and contributing ideas related to the Congress's theme, guiding principles, and the structure of the report.
Following the feedback, the meeting leaders urged the Subcommittee members to continue studying the working regulations, work plan, and the preliminary outline of the political report to provide further input.
This feedback will then be passed on to the permanent office for further adjustment and finalisation.
