Responding to the special emulation campaign launched by the Mường Ảng district People’s Committee to welcome the 2025-2030 Party Congress term, by late 2024, local Party committees, authorities, and various agencies across the district had already drawn up plans and registered specific projects and tasks aligned with their assigned political responsibilities. Many communes chose to focus on developing cultural, educational, and civil infrastructure, efforts that not only energized the campaign but also directly benefited the community.
In Ẳng Cang commune, in addition to maintaining and beautifying flower-lined roads, the Huổi Sứa village cultural house was selected as the flagship project to mark the Party Congress. With a total investment of VND 2 billion, the project was swiftly and efficiently executed, ensuring both quality and timely completion. By early February 2025, the facility was handed over and officially put into use, providing residents with a dedicated space for meetings and cultural activities. The project is seen as a key contribution to the commune’s new rural development efforts, fostering solidarity and empowering local communities to take a proactive role in economic, cultural, and social advancement.
In Búng Lao commune, the project chosen to commemorate the occasion was the construction of a two-storey functional classroom building at Búng Lao Secondary School. Covering a total area of 318.9 square meters, the building features modern amenities, including electrical systems, internet connectivity, fire prevention, drainage, and was built to national class III construction standards. Upon completion, the facility expanded teaching capacity and allowed for more in-depth educational activities, thereby improving teaching and learning quality.

“This project not only honors the upcoming Party Congress but also serves as a major source of encouragement for our teachers and students”, said Lò Văn Thi, Chairman of the Búng Lao commune People’s Committee.
Thanks to the dedication and urgency demonstrated by the entire political system, by the end of May, all commune-level projects registered for the Party Congress in Mường Ảng had been completed and put into use on schedule. Meanwhile, district-level projects are also progressing under strict supervision in line with established plans. Of the four registered district-level projects, the flower arch at Hoa Ban square and the decorative flower system along the main 42-meter road have already been completed, offering a striking enhancement to the district’s urban landscape.
The project to upgrade the Mường Ảng central market, with an investment of over VND 14 billion, includes renovating and expanding retail areas, roofing sections for fresh produce, establishing dedicated OCOP product stalls, improving internal roads and parking, and paving the entire market courtyard. Currently, over 60% of construction has been completed, with groundwork and stone paving remaining. The project is expected to be finished by September 2025, improving trade conditions and boosting local economic development.
As for the Đoàn Kết park project in Mường Ảng town, construction began but was paused to accommodate adjustments under the new administrative model, which will no longer include the district level. It is expected to resume once the transfer of management responsibilities to the commune level is finalized.
Đinh Văn Sơn, Acting Chairman of the Mường Ảng district People’s Committee, emphasized: “These projects not only create momentum for the Party’s emulation movement but also represent one of the two key breakthroughs outlined in the district’s 2020-2025 Party Congress Resolution, namely: investing in technical and social infrastructure, urban revitalization, and prioritizing the development of a green, clean, and modern district center.”
Though the 2020-2025 term is not yet over, the majority of the celebration projects selected by Mường Ảng’s Party committees and local authorities have already been completed. This reflects the district’s commitment to a people-centered, grassroots-based development approach, reigniting the sense of responsibility and initiative within each locality and unit in pursuing economic and social development, new rural development, and modern urbanization, all in celebration of the 2025-2030 Party Congress.
