Điện Biên Province’s Vietnam Fatherland Front and mass organizations launch emulation movement in 2025

ĐBP - On January 8, the emulation bloc of the Điện Biên Province’s Vietnam Fatherland Front and mass organizations held a conference to review emulation and commendation activities in 2024 and to launch the emulation movement for this year.

Delegates at the conference.

Reportedly, last year, the emulation bloc closely adhered to the guidelines of higher-level organizations and the province’s political tasks, effectively performing their assigned missions in combination with various emulation campaigns and drives.

All agencies and units within the bloc seriously coordinated with local Party committees, authorities, and relevant sectors at all levels to effectively carry out dissemination activities, ensuring thorough understanding and implementation of the Party’s guidelines and the State’s policies and laws among people.

Efforts were focused on political and ideological education for officials, employees, and members, aligned with learning and following President Hồ Chí Minh’s moral example and teachings, and the Resolutions of the 11th and 12th Party Central Committees. This also included the implementation of the Party Central Committee’s Conclusion No.21-KL/TW, dated October 25, 2021, on the Party building and rectification.

Chairman of the provincial Veterans’ Association Lưu Trọng Lư speaks at the conference.

At the same time, they prioritized organizational reform and personnel management, development of unions and membership, and innovation in operational contents and methods to ensure practicality and effectiveness. Activities and policies were directed toward the grassroots level to maximize their impact and relevance.

The agencies and units within the bloc proactively implemented programs and projects aimed at the province’s socio-economic development. Special attention was given to promoting democracy at grassroots level and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of their members. Meanwhile, they actively participated in Party and governance building efforts, as well as in the fight against corruption and wastefulness, and other negative phenomena. Regularly launched emulation programs created an energetic and competitive atmosphere across various fields.

As a result, the agencies and units within the bloc successfully fulfilled their assigned political tasks, making significant contribution to the successful implementation of socio-economic development objectives and ensuring national defense and security in the province.

Leader of the province’s Labor Federation handed over the 2025 emulation bloc leadership to the province’s Youth Union.

At the conference, delegates focused on discussing and clarifying the outstanding achievements made by the agencies and units within the bloc over the past year. At the same time, they candidly acknowledged shortcomings and limitations in conducting emulation programs. Among them, certain aspects of some programs were not defined clearly. Furthermore, grasping thoughts and aspirations of their members and the public was, at times, not timely or effective.

The conference also conducted evaluations and recognized emulation and commendation titles for 2024, approved the bloc’s activity plan for 2025, and elected and handed over the 2025 bloc leadership to the Điện Biên Province’s Youth Union. Additionally, the bloc officially launched the emulation movement for 2025, and then the agencies and units within the bloc signed the emulation agreement.

Accordingly, in 2025, the emulation bloc of the Điện Biên Province’s Vietnam Fatherland Front and mass organizations will focus on intensifying patriotic emulation drives. These efforts will be closely tied to extensive dissemination campaigns to raise awareness of officials, employees, and members, and people of the Party’s guidelines and the State’s policies and laws.

The agencies and units within the bloc sign the emulation agreement.

The bloc will also strengthen leadership and promote key emulation drives, such as “The whole people unite to build new-style rural, civilized urban areas,” “For the poor - No one left behind,” and “Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses for poor families.”

Additionally, the bloc will host activities commemorating the 50th anniversary of Southern Liberation and National Unification Day (April 30, 1975 - 2025), while enhancing coordination, experience sharing, and cooperation among its member units to improve the task performance.
