Alongside safeguarding the rights of households contributing land for rubber plantations, the Điện Biên Rubber Joint Stock Company has also focused on creating jobs for local workers. This has not only stabilized livelihoods but also contributed to the province’s socio-economic growth.

ĐBP - After more than six years of implementing the “One Commune, One Product” (OCOP) program, Điện Biên province has had 138 outstanding products certified with 3-star and 4-star standards. However, many products have now expired in terms of certification, and not a few producers have yet to pay due attention to the process of evaluation and re-certification. This not only places some products at risk of losing their “passport” in the market but also reduces competitiveness and undermines the reputation of local brands.
