The inspection focused on the Sái Lương Reservoir Project and the Ta Pao macadamia garden in Mường Mùn Commune. He was accompanied by Lò Văn Tiến, Deputy Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
The Sái Lương Reservoir Project has a capacity of approximately five million cubic metres, with key components including a stream dam, flood discharge system, and water intake culvert. Its water pipeline, along with auxiliary structures, spans a total length of around 120km.
The project has a total investment of nearly VNĐ1.39 trillion (US$55.9 million). In addition to regulating water resources between basins, it ensures a domestic water supply for 35,000 people and irrigation for 21,000 hectares of agricultural land in Tuần Giáo District.
On October 10, Chairman Lê Thành Đô is scheduled to attend a conference reviewing two years of agricultural sector restructuring in the district. He will also hold a working session with the Standing Committee of the Tuần Giáo District Party Committee.
