Nậm Pồ District’s border hamlet has access to national power grid

ĐBP - On January 24, families at Pháng Chủ Hamlet (Phìn Hồ Commune, Nậm Pồ District, Điện Biên Province) was officially connected to the national power grid under the “Lighting up Điện Biên” program.

The construction of the project in Pháng Chủ Hamlet was started on December 19, 2024. The project included a 0.4kV power line extending from the Mo Công Substation, with a length of 1.707km, providing electricity access to 20 households in the hamlet. The power line is designed as an overhead system using centrifugal concrete poles. The project employs electronic meters with remote metering capabilities, enabling data collection and transmission to the management center.

Immediately after the project’s groundbreaking, under the effective direction of the Nậm Pồ District People’s Committee and thanks to the determination and high sense of responsibility of the project management board and contractors, resources, machinery, equipment, and manpower were promptly mobilized to execute the project as per the approved design documents.

Notably, the construction has been facilitated by the strong support from the residents of Pháng Chủ and Mạy Hốc hamlets, as well as from the Party committee and local authorities of Phìn Hồ Commune, particularly in ground clearing. The residents of both villages voluntarily donated 134.8 square meters of land for the installation of 23 electricity poles. To date, the project has been completed and meets all conditions for energization in accordance with regulations.
