With diverse designs, easy access, and trading on social networks along with misleading advertisements, e-cigarettes are creeping into the lives of young people, seriously affecting their health and habits.

In the context of diseases still harboring many complex factors, the provincial Health sector continues to pay attention and synchronously deploy preventive solutions, protecting community health from early on and from afar, according to the motto “prevention is better than cure”.

ĐBP - With over 2,000 public headquarters in the province needing rearrangement when operating the 2-tier local government model, the arrangement and handling of public assets is an important task, requiring the decisive and synchronous involvement of all levels and sectors, along with a strict, scientific process in accordance with regulations. To date, Điện Biên province has completed the procedures for handing over assets to the grassroots level, making efforts to arrange them suitably, aiming for the ultimate goal of ensuring public assets are managed and used effectively, promoting their value, and avoiding loss and waste.

However, e-cigarettes and heated tobacco have emerged as a new, more dangerous, and unpredictable challenge.

ĐBP - Community digital technology groups (CDTG) are likened to an “extended arm” of the government, operating in villages to support people in accessing and using digital technology and digital platforms. Thereby, they make an important contribution to promoting digital transformation and building a strong digital community from the grassroots level.
