ĐBP - In response to the government’s policy of accelerating digital transformation and implementing Project 06, the Điện Biên provincial Police has launched the campaign “Digital summer with VNeID: Guiding digital citizens and accompanying people in implementing Project 06.” With the participation of police officers, youth union members, and community digital technology teams, the campaign is bringing digital services and conveniences closer to residents across the province.

ĐBP - Every summer, as many parents grapple with finding a safe and rewarding playground for their children, the Điện Biên provincial Library emerges as a preferred destination for numerous students. Featuring tens of thousands of book titles alongside creative experiential activities, the library not only satisfies reading needs but also creates a friendly educational space - helping children accumulate knowledge, hone skills, foster creative thinking, and enjoy a meaningful, rewarding summer vacation.

ĐBP - Entering the peak of the rainy season, the risks of landslides and flash floods are constantly present across many localities in the province.

ĐBP - As a border province with a population of over 667,000, in which women account for more than half, Điện Biên faces numerous social issues such as child marriage, domestic violence, and human trafficking.

ĐBP - Over 76 years of construction and growth, the Vietnam Former Youth Volunteers force has consistently stood as a symbol of patriotism, dedication, and vanguard spirit. Continuing that tradition, all levels of the Former Youth Volunteers’ Association in Điện Biên province are promoting their exemplary role, contributing to building an increasingly developed homeland.

In the highland and border villages of Điện Biên province, sturdy Great Unity Houses are being built as a result of a deeply humane policy from the Party and State, drawing support from the “For the Poor” Fund alongside joint contributions from organizations, enterprises, and benefactors inside and outside the province. Each house stands as a symbol of human warmth and community solidarity, providing underprivileged families with fresh motivation to rise in life.

ĐBP - “Taking citizens as the center, the subject, the target, and the driving force of digital transformation” represents a consistent perspective throughout Party and State policies. From that orientation, digital transformation is step-by-step entering daily life, transforming governance and management methods of the local administration while creating greater convenience for citizens in accessing public services and social life utilities.

ĐBP - In response to increasingly complex and unpredictable weather conditions, authorities and management agencies in Điện Biên province are intensifying efforts to ensure the safety of reservoirs, irrigation works, and hydropower facilities. From inspections and risk assessments to preventive maintenance and repairs, a range of measures is being implemented to minimize the risk of incidents, safeguard critical infrastructure, and secure water supplies for production and daily life.

ĐBP - Facing the complex and unpredictable weather developments, management units across the province are strengthening efforts to ensure the safety of reservoirs, irrigation works, and hydropower projects. Ranging from inspecting and assessing structural integrity to reviewing vulnerable positions and proactively repairing damage, solutions are being urgently deployed to limit risk of incidents, safeguard works, and ensure water supplies for production and public daily life.

ĐBP - The 2026 Action Month for the Environment continues to affirm Điện Biên province’s determination to realize sustainable development and climate change response goals.

ĐBP - Child marriage continues to persist across many residential areas in Điện Biên province. Numerous young girls aged 15 to 16 are getting married, having children, and dropping out of school.

ĐBP - The entire province currently counts over 1,200 grassroots-level propagators who stay close to local areas and residents daily, serving as a core force in public dissemination and mobilization. Through flexible methods tailored to each locality, this force brings the guidelines of the Party and the policies and laws of the State to the people, contributing to raising public awareness, strengthening faith in the Party’s leadership, and building consensus in performing local political tasks.

ĐBP - Digital transformation can only achieve its full potential when citizens are able to use and benefit from digital platforms in their daily lives. In Điện Biên province, efforts to bring the VNeID application to local residents, particularly those living in mountainous and border areas, are being actively implemented. From guiding citizens through installation and account activation to integrating digital documents and using online public services, many residents have proactively embraced digital utilities, contributing to the effective implementation of Project 06.

ĐBP - Digital transformation proves effective only when citizens know how to use and leverage digital platforms in their daily lives. In Điện Biên province, bringing the VNeID application to the public - especially in highland and border areas - is being actively deployed.

ĐBP - The summer holiday gives teenagers more time away from school, but it is also a period when juvenile law violations tend to increase. From underage driving to acts that threaten public order and safety, such incidents highlight the urgent need for early preventive measures through close coordination among families, schools, and law enforcement agencies.

ĐBP - In the Nà Hỳ border region, smartphones are no longer merely communication tools, but have become the master key opening doors to the digital world.

ĐBP - In the early summer days, continuous rains in the border region make the winding road to the Nậm Nhừ Border Post in Nà Hỳ commune even more slippery and circuitous. Yet the atmosphere inside the station is notably livelier, filled with the laughter of young children visiting their fathers at the unit for the very first time.

ĐBP - Starting from July 1, 2026, multiple new regulations of the Law on Health Insurance officially take effect, expanding benefits for participants toward more favorable and flexible medical examination and treatment. These adjustments do not only create conditions for the public to access quality medical services and alleviate the burden of treatment costs but also continue to affirm the role of health insurance as an important pillar in the social security system, heading toward the goal of universal healthcare.
