Many households had to leave their old homes, the road to the village was cut off, and daily life was difficult. ĐBP - In the process of building an e-government and promoting digital transformation, Điện Biên province identifies the reception, resolution, and return of results for administrative procedures (APs) via the Online Public Service Portal as one of the key tasks. This is not only an inevitable trend but has also become an important driving force creating strong changes in administrative reform, improving service quality, and enhancing the transparency and efficiency of the two-tier local government apparatus.

ĐBP - Although still facing many difficulties and challenges, the work of hunger eradication and poverty reduction in Điện Biên province has recorded positive changes recently.

ĐBP - In 2025, natural disasters in the Điện Biên province have been highly complex, especially heavy rains in late July and early August that triggered flash floods, landslides, and widespread erosion, severely damaging the transport system. Many key routes were cut off and paralyzed for days. After the floods, the province mobilized maximum resources and implemented coordinated urgent measures to restore infrastructure, ensuring smooth traffic flow to help localities quickly stabilize and guarantee residents’ safety.

ĐBP - Amidst the vast forests of the Northwestern region, Huổi Quang village (Mường Chà commune, Điện Biên province) exists like an isolated “oasis.” Located more than 10km from National Highway 4H, the village has 54 households that have clung to this land for a long time, yet life remains impoverished and trapped in deprivation.

ĐBP - Unlike their peers, children attending special education classes require more meticulous attention, support, and a long-term intervention process. Therefore, at the Điện Biên provincial Inclusion Education Support Center, the learning journey of these children is always connected with the perseverance, tenacity, and love of the teaching staff here.

ĐBP - On the remote, sparsely populated mountains of the highland region in Điện Biên province, where life still faces many hardships, the footsteps of boarding school teachers are relentlessly treading on slippery dirt roads.

ĐBP - Recognizing digital transformation and information technology (IT) adoption as key to improving education quality, the provincial education sector has proactively rolled out a range of solutions in recent years.

ĐBP - While many schools are vibrant with flowers and words of gratitude for teachers, there are still those who silently sow literacy, receiving simple forest flowers in return. They are highland teachers, the “ferrypersons” who are not only steadfast in their profession but also persistent and loving, overcoming hardships of roads, weather, and living conditions... to light up dreams for students in the high mountains.

ĐBP - In the context of strong digital technology development, women in Điện Biên province have been promoting their pioneering, dynamic, and creative roles, contributing significantly to the digitization process.

ĐBP - Ensuring food safety in school canteens plays a vital role in protecting students’ health and supporting their physical and cognitive development. Aware of this importance, educational institutions across Điện Biên province have prioritized food safety, while health authorities have strengthened inspections to prevent potential food poisoning risks.

ĐBP - Visiting Chiềng Sinh commune today, many hamlets have clean concrete roads, solar-powered lamp posts, and national flags hanging along the routes. The coffee and macadamia gardens stretch green across the hillsides. The lives of people in the highland villages are “changing their skin and flesh” every day.

ĐBP - The policy of investing in building boarding schools in border communes, according to Notice No.81 TB/TW dated July 18, 2025, from the Party Central Committee, has demonstrated the strategic determination of the Party and State, oriented towards ethnic communities and students at the “frontier” of the Fatherland.

ĐBP - Amidst the countless difficulties of the mountainous border province of Điện Biên, where people’s lives are still full of deprivation, the light of literacy is constantly being lit. With high political determination and creative methods, Điện Biên province has been becoming a bright spot in the work of eradicating illiteracy in ethnic minority areas, contributing to gradually narrowing the intellectual gap between regions.
