ĐBP - As the 15th provincial Party Congress approaches, the Điện Biên provincial Police have been concentrating their full efforts on implementing comprehensive professional measures to safeguard political security and social order, ensuring that this significant political event takes place in absolute safety.

ĐBP - As the provincial Party Congress approaches its 15th session, in preparation for the 14th national Party Congress, the provincial Party Committee has identified ideological work as a key task to ensure unity of thought and strengthen the confidence of officials, Party members, and the public.

ĐBP - The first Party congresses of all 45 newly merged communes and wards have captured the shared aspiration and vision of each locality entering a new stage of development. Immediately after their congresses, local Party committees swiftly developed action programs to translate resolutions into real-life outcomes.

ĐBP - On October 9, a delegation from Oudomxay province of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, led by comrade Vongsavanh Saynhavong, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Governor of Oudomxay Province, visited Điện Biên to exchange experiences on decentralization, the establishment of commune-level administrative units, and the operation and management of public administrative service centers.

ĐBP - On the morning of October 8, comrade Lê Thành Đô, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, together with a working delegation, inspected the progress of the Si Pa Phìn Inter-level Primary and Secondary School Project and held a working session with the commune’s leaders to review the implementation of local tasks in recent months.

ĐBP - As the 2026 military recruitment season begins, many young people across the province have not waited for official summons but have voluntarily written enlistment applications. Each letter represents not only a personal commitment but also a flame of patriotism and responsibility spreading among local youth.

ĐBP - These days, along with working diligently and striving to achieve new accomplishments in celebration of the 15th provincial Party Congress (2025-2030 term), officials, Party members, and residents across the province are placing their full trust and hope in the success of this important political event. To ensure absolute safety, the Provincial Police Department have proactively developed and implemented various plans and measures to safeguard political security and maintain social order and safety from the earliest stages, starting at the grassroots level.

ĐBP - When information is conveyed in the mother tongues of ethnic minorities, Party resolutions are no longer distant or abstract, they become familiar, relevant, and accessible.

ĐBP - In the frontier villages perched along the nation’s borders, the voices of 19 ethnic groups have become “keys” to building trust between the Party, the government, and the people.

ĐBP - On October 3, 1945, just one month after the Democratic Republic of Vietnam was founded, President Hồ Chí Minh signed Decree No. 41, transferring the Observatory and Phủ Liễn Astronomical Station to the Ministry of Public Works and Transport. Over the past 80 years, the hydrometeorological sector has walked alongside the nation, leaving a profound mark on the cause of building and safeguarding the Fatherland. Among those contributions is the dedicated work of the HM force in Điện Biên, the westernmost frontier of the country.

ĐBP - In highland villages, there are those who quietly serve as “flame-bearers” through bilingualism. They are Party cell secretaries, village elders, and village heads, people fluent in both Vietnamese and their mother tongues, who patiently bring the Party’s resolutions to every household.

ĐBP - The 2026 military recruitment season introduces many new points as this is the first year the two-tier local government structure is officially in place. With the guiding principle “Whoever is recruited must be a sure candidate,” localities are implementing all stages of the recruitment process in a comprehensive and disciplined manner.

ĐBP - Điện Biên, a frontier land where 19 ethnic groups live together, is a place of diverse languages, customs, and identities. This diversity is both a cultural richness and a challenge for bringing Party resolutions down to the grassroots level. Yet from village meetings deep in the mountains to radio broadcasts in ethnic languages, resolutions are reaching the people in their mother tongues, clear, simple, memorable, and practical.

ĐBP - Safeguarding sovereignty is not only the duty of the armed forces but also the sacred responsibility of every citizen. The border is not merely a line drawn on a map, but it also lies deep in people’s hearts. For that reason, maintaining the “border in people’s hearts” means safeguarding the sovereignty of the nation. In Điện Biên province, this is being demonstrated daily through concrete actions.

ĐBP - Party members being heard, people having a channel to share, and grassroots Party committees gaining more practical insights for direction and leadership - these are the results of commune Party standing committees regularly attending Party cell meetings in villages and hamlets. From such meetings, concerns are resolved promptly at the grassroots level, fostering consensus and improving the quality of Party organization activities.

ĐBP - As localities move into a new phase of development, the two-tier local government model has brought positive changes in administration and governance. Alongside socio-economic goals, defense and security tasks remain crucial, ensuring public order while laying a solid foundation for sustainable growth.
