Joining the working delegation with the provincial Party Secretary were leaders of the provincial People’s Committee, the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, several provincial departments and branches, and leaders of Na Sang and Si Pa Phìn communes.
Provincial Party Secretary Trần Tiến Dũng and the working delegation directly inspected the current status of the local concentrated agricultural production area, evaluating the potential for developing crops suitable to the region’s climatic and soil conditions. Simultaneously, they surveyed the expected wind power project deployment area to consider the ability to effectively exploit the terrain advantages and wind resources in the locality.
Through the actual inspection, provincial Party Secretary Trần Tiến Dũng requested departments, branches, and localities to strengthen coordination with investors during the survey, research, and comprehensive evaluation of natural conditions, environmental impacts, as well as the investment efficiency of the project. The implementation needs to ensure compliance with the national energy development planning, associated with the province’s orientation for green economic development and sustainable growth.
Provincial Party Secretary Trần Tiến Dũng also noted that during the process of attracting investment and developing renewable energy projects, attention must be paid to harmonizing economic development with environmental protection, preserving ecological landscapes, and ensuring the rights and interests of the people. Along with that, it is necessary to promote land use efficiency, create momentum for socio-economic development, and step by step effectively exploit the potentials and advantages of the border highland region.
