Transport minister and Điện Biên leaders offers incense to martyrs

ĐBP - A delegation from the Ministry of Transport, led by Nguyễn Văn Thắng, Minister of Transport and head of the National Assembly delegation of Điện Biên Province, paid tribute to General Võ Nguyên Giáp at his worship site in Mường Phăng Commune and offered incense to heroes and martyrs at cemeteries in Điện Biên Phủ City on Monday afternoon. The visit and incense offering ceremony marked the 77th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27).

The delegation included Secretary of Điện Biên Province's Party Committee Trần Quốc Cường, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Lê Thành Đô, along with leaders of various departments and agencies.

Minister Thắng lights incense in tribute at the A1 Martyrs' Cemetery.

They offered flowers and incense to express their profound gratitude to General Võ Nguyên Giáp and the martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the struggle for national liberation, reunification, independence, and freedom, for the Fatherland and for the people.
