Support provided to build solidarity houses for families in need

ĐBP - The Việt Nam Fatherland Front Committee of Điện Biên Province, on 28 November, presented financial aid to two disadvantaged households in Mường Ảng District to support the construction of solidarity houses.

Leaders of the provincial Fatherland Front and Mường Ảng District authourities hand over housing support funds to Lò Văn Hải’s family in Bản Mới, Ẳng Nưa Commune.

The beneficiaries are the family of Lò Văn Hải from Bản Mới, Ẳng Nưa Commune, and Lò Thị Hoa from Bản Hón, Mường Ảng Town.

Both families have endured prolonged hardships, living in severely deteriorated temporary homes.

Each household received VNĐ50 million (approximately US$1,970) from the provincial "For the Poor" Fund.

Lò Hải Dung, Vice Chairwoman of the committee, expressed heartfelt sympathy for their challenges and expressed hope that the assistance would enable the families to complete new homes in time for Tết 2025 (Lunar New Year).

The committee also urged local Party committees and authorities to continue supporting the families during the construction process.

This includes mobilising community efforts to provide essential household items, building materials, and voluntary labour. Such collaborative efforts aim to improve the families' living conditions and help them achieve stability.
