Subcommittee on Communications and Protocol for the 15th Provincial Party Congress holds first meeting

ĐBP – The Communications and Protocol Subcommittee for the 15th Party Congress of Điện Biên Province held its first meeting to discuss upcoming tasks and initiatives.

During the meeting, representatives from the Provincial Party Committee's Publicity and Education Commission, acting as the permanent office of the Subcommittee, presented the draft plan for communications and protocol to support the 15th Provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 tenure.

They also reviewed the draft task assignments for Subcommittee members.

The delegates agreed with the proposed plan and task assignments.

Subcommittee members engaged in discussions to clarify and adjust certain elements as necessary, including refining specific messages for slogans and assigning responsibilities for welcoming and coordinating with central media agencies covering the Congress.

To ensure effective communications, delegates suggested a phased approach with targeted activities during the Congress, expanding outreach through local information channels, establishing a Press Centre for the Congress, ensuring cybersecurity, and securing the budget for these communications efforts.

Concluding the meeting, Deputy Secretary Mùa A Sơn instructed the Publicity and Education Commission to incorporate feedback from the meeting into the plan and task assignments.

He also requested continued focus on phased communications planning and appropriate messaging. Subcommittee members were advised to clearly outline their responsibilities and prepare specific budget estimates to submit to the Department of Finance.

Điện Biên Phủ Newspaper Editor-in-Chief Phạm Ngọc Hân addresses the meeting.

Additionally, Sơn directed the Publicity and Education Commission to coordinate with the Department of Information and Communications to establish a Press Centre.

He urged Điện Biên Phủ City and Điện Biên District to ensure security and enhance publicity efforts to build momentum for the Congress.
