Logistics Subcommittee for the 15th Provincial Party Congress holds first meeting

ĐBP – The Logistics Subcommittee for the 15th Điện Biên Provincial Party Congress for the 2025–2030 tenure held its first meeting on Tuesday, discussing draft documents regarding task assignments within the subcommittee, guidelines for expenditure protocols for Party Congresses in Điện Biên, and a detailed budget estimate for the Provincial Party Congress.

The Logistics Subcommittee, consisting of 13 members, is responsible for advising the Provincial Party Executive Committee on planning and allocating funds for the Congress. It also ensures thorough preparation of facilities, equipment, and other necessary conditions for the event.

To finalise the draft guidelines on expenditures for organising Party Congresses at all levels in Điện Biên Province, the Provincial Party Committee Office gathered input from nearly 30 agencies and units.

During the meeting, subcommittee members discussed and agreed upon key logistical tasks, including determining the budget needs for logistics support for all levels of Party Congresses and coordinating task assignments within the subcommittee.

In concluding remarks, Deputy Secretary Sơn emphasised the critical role of the subcommittee and the need for high responsibility, proactivity, and self-discipline from each member to clarify the tasks within their respective sectors and areas of management.

He reminded members to follow the plan and timeline carefully and coordinate effectively across departments to fulfill their assignments. He also suggested adding the Chief of the Provincial Party Committee Office to the subcommittee’s membership.

Regarding expenditure guidelines for organising Party Congresses, Sơn requested that the Provincial Party Committee Office collaborate with the Provincial People’s Committee Office and the Department of Finance to finalise the document for review and issuance by the Provincial Party Standing Committee.

For the detailed budget estimate, he instructed the Provincial Party Committee Office to continue reviewing expenditure tasks, coordinating with the Provincial People’s Committee Office, the Office of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, the Provincial People’s Council, and the Department of Finance to complete the comprehensive budget report for the Provincial Party Congress.
