Điện Biên delegation offers incense to commemorate General Giáp

ĐBP – A delegation from Điện Biên Province, led by Deputy Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vừ A Bằng, offered incense at the grave of General Võ Nguyên Giáp in Vũng Chùa - Yến Island, Quảng Trạch District, Quảng Bình Province, and paid tribute to heroic martyrs at the Đồng Lộc T-junction historical site in Đồng Lộc Commune, Can Lộc District, Hà Tĩnh Province on Wednesday.

This activity is part of a series of events commemorating the 77th anniversary of Vietnamese War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2024).

Deputy Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vừ A Bằng and the delegation from Điện Biên Province offer incense at the grave of General Võ Nguyên Giáp in Quảng Bình Province.

At General Võ Nguyên Giáp's grave, Deputy Chairman Bằng and the delegation laid wreaths, offered incense, and observed a moment of silence to honour the first Commander-in-Chief of the Việt Nam People's Army.

The delegation also expressed deep gratitude for General Giáp's immense contributions to the revolutionary cause of the nation and the historic Victory at Điện Biên Phủ, which resonated worldwide.

Điện Biên Province’s delegation offers incense and laid flowers at the graves of the ten heroic female martyrs at the Đồng Lộc T-junction.

On behalf of the Party Committee, authorities and people of Điện Biên Province, Bằng and the delegation pledged to uphold their roles and responsibilities, unite to overcome all difficulties and challenges, and strive to develop Điện Biên Province in a rapid and sustainable manner.

The provincial leaders express gratitude at the graves of the ten heroic female martyrs at the Đồng Lộc T-junction.

Also on the same day, Điện Biên delegation offered incense and laid wreaths to commemorate martyrs at the National Memorial for Volunteer Youth, the graves of the ten heroic female martyrs at the Đồng Lộc T-junction, and the victory monument of the Đồng Lộc T-junction historical site.

In a solemn atmosphere, the delegation expressed profound gratitude for the immense sacrifices of the heroic martyrs in the struggle for national liberation and reunification.

The delegation vowed to continue the heroic and resilient tradition of previous generations, actively participating in building and protecting the homeland and the country, making them increasingly prosperous and beautiful.
