The Vice Chairman met with four families: Ngô Văn Khế, father of martyr Ngô Quốc Dư, in Hoàng Công Chất Hamlet, Thanh An Commune; Đào Văn Hùng, a 50 per cent disabled veteran, in Hồng Cúm Hamlet, Thanh An; Lò Văn Lả, father of martyr Lò Văn Pánh, in Hồng Sạt Hamlet, Sam Mứn Commune; and Đinh Xuân Phúc, a 61 per cent chemically-exposed victim, in Fourth Hamlet, Sam Mứn.
During the visits, he expressed his deep gratitude for the contribution of the families to the country's struggle for independence. He inquired about their well-being and encouraged them to continue their strong spirit in the face of hardship. He emphasised the importance of carrying on the revolutionary legacy and contributing to the community. He called on the families to be role models by following the Party’s guidelines and supporting the education of the next generation.
He urged local authorities to prioritise supporting policy-beneficiary families and veterans, upholding the values of "when drinking water, remember its source".
