Điện Biên to complete key projects before April 30

ĐBP – Lê Thành Đô, Deputy Secretary of the Điện Biên Province’s Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People's Committee has called upon construction units to finalise essential projects before April 30.

He issued this directive during a field inspection of several key projects in commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the Điện Biên Phủ Victory on Friday morning (April 19).

Đô inspected construction projects, including: the 10.5-meter-long road connecting the auxiliary gate of the Điện Biên Stadium to Võ Nguyên Giáp Road; the 27-meter and 13-meter-long roads; the intersection from the provincial Tax Department to Tà Lèng Commune; the section from the provincial People’s Court to Võ Nguyên Giáp Road; and the section from the intersection of Võ Nguyên Giáp Street - Bridge A1 – to the intersection of Trần Đăng Ninh Road.

 He also inspected the progress of key infrastructures such as: the construction of Điện Biên Stadium; the Hà Nội – Điện Biên Phủ Elementary School; the provincial guesthouse; the installation project of the lighting system for Mường Thanh Bridge; and the investment project in constructing multi-disaster management in the Nậm Rốm River basin to protect livelihoods, adapt to climate change, and promote the socio-economic development of Điện Biên Province."

These are all crucial projects aimed at commemorating and serving the 70th anniversary of the Điện Biên Phủ Victory.

 With the approaching grand ceremony, Đô urged contractors and construction units to mobilise all available human, material, and equipment resources to expedite project completion.

He stressed the importance of completing the necessary tasks, ensuring they are operational before April 30, while maintaining high construction standards.

During the inspection of transportation routes for both public travel and event processions, Đô urged contractors to swiftly prioritise the construction of roads and sidewalks.
