Điện Biên delegation visits Chinese wind power production groups

ĐBP – A delegation from Điện Biên Province, led by Mùa A Sơn, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, conducted a working visit with several wind power production groups in China.

The four-day visit, from May 20 to 23, was made at the invitation of the China Wind Energy Association. The delegation included Phạm Đức Toàn, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, along with leaders from various provincial departments and sectors.

On May 21, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Mùa A Sơn and Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Phạm Đức Toàn, along with the delegation, visited and worked with the leaders of Envision Energy in Shanghai, China.

They also visited a wind turbine manufacturing plant in Jiangsu Province the same day.

In Shanghai, the delegation met with Envision Energy's leaders and toured several of the group's production facilities.

During the meeting, Sơn praised the group's production capacity and investment experience in energy production. He expressed hope that the group would soon complete the necessary investment procedures to implement the wind power production project in Điện Biên Province according to the plan approved by the Prime Minister.

Kane Xu, Vice President of Envision Energy, for his turn, affirmed the group's determination to implement the project in Điện Biên and committed to focusing all resources to complete the project on schedule as approved by the authorities.
