ĐBP - After the reorganization and restructuring of administrative units under the two-tier local government model, which resulted in the dissolution of district-level administrative units, a practical issue emerged: the names of many schools no longer matched the new administrative reality, causing certain inconveniences. Therefore, the review and proposal to rename educational institutions in our province are being promptly implemented by authorities at all levels to ensure uniformity and stability for the upcoming school year.

ĐBP - With the implementation of the two-tier local government model, changes in organizational structure, personnel, administrative boundaries, and management functions have posed new requirements for maintaining strong ties between the government and people. In this context, renewing voter engagement activities has been identified as an important solution to strengthen public trust and ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of the newly organized government system.

ĐBP - The Ministry of Education and Training’s Circular No.29/2024/TT-BGDĐT has officially taken effect, providing the necessary legal tool for localities to strengthen management and rectify the situation of extra teaching and tutoring. However, alongside positive signs, many parents remain concerned about the potential emergence of disguised forms of tutoring, which could undermine the effectiveness and original intent of the circular.

Although no dengue cases have been recorded in Điện Biên province in the first seven months of 2025, the health sector and local authorities have been implementing comprehensive measures to prevent and control the disease, protecting public health.

ĐBP - Due to the prolonged heavy rains in recent days, many areas in Điện Biên province have experienced landslides or face a high risk of landslides that threaten the lives and property of residents. In response, Party committees, local authorities at all levels, and relevant agencies have promptly implemented measures to ensure the safety of the people in the face of potential natural disasters.

ĐBP - Without access to the national power grid and with poor infrastructure, all 77 households of the Hmông ethnic group in Hua Chăn village, Búng Lao commune, Điện Biên province, have long relied on swidden farming and small-scale livestock for survival. These are also the main reasons why the villagers remain stuck in poverty and hardship.
