Vietnamese provincial leaders visit President Hồ Chí Minh’s legacy in Kunming

ĐBP - Delegations of provincial Party secretaries from Điện Biên, Hà Giang and Lai Châu, along with other delegation members, visited the historical site of President Hồ Chí Minh in Kunming City, as part of their visit and working trip in China.

Leading the delegation of provincial party secretaries were Trần Quốc Cường, Secretary of the Điện Biên Provincial Party Committee; Giàng Páo Mỷ, Secretary of the Lai Châu Provincial Party Committee; and Nguyễn Mạnh Dũng, Acting Secretary of the Hà Giang Provincial Party Committee.

The site, located in Kunming City, Yunnan Province, is one of the places where President Hồ Chí Minh conducted revolutionary activities during 1940-1941.

It holds immense importance for helping the people of Việt Nam and China, as well as the Vietnamese community in Yunnan, understand President Hồ Chí Minh's life and great revolutionary career. It also plays a vital role in educating the younger generations of both nations about the tradition of friendship between Việt Nam and China.

During their visit, the delegations were given an overview of President Hồ Chí Minh's activities and life during his time in Kunming City.

This historical site stands as a testament to his connection with Yunnan, playing a vital role in preserving his tangible and intangible legacy.

It aids the people of Yunnan and the Vietnamese community in understanding his revolutionary career, while also strengthening Việt Nam-China relations.
