From social security programs and housing support to the implementation of poverty eradication and infrastructure development projects, everything is aimed at improving the quality of life for the people.

ĐBP - Over 40 years of national renewal, Điện Biên’s education sector has overcome numerous difficulties, affirming its important position and role in the local socio-economic development. Achievements in the scale and quality of education, along with pioneering steps in digital transformation, are a testament to the relentless efforts and determination for innovation within Điện Biên’s education sector.

ĐBP - Alongside continued investment in transport infrastructure, the province has been focusing on developing public passenger transport by bus to ease traffic congestion, reduce travel costs, and protect the environment. However, the system remains small-scale and underdeveloped due to a lack of mechanisms and supportive policies for both businesses and residents. There is now an urgent need for incentives to encourage private participation, fare reductions, and the gradual establishment of a modern, well-connected bus network.

ĐBP - Coming to the 2025 Vietnam Workers and Civil Servants Football Tournament with a spirit of exchange and learning, the Điện Biên Trade Union football team ended up writing one of the most inspiring and unforgettable stories of the Northern regional qualifiers.

ĐBP - Recognizing that legal dissemination and education are crucial political tasks, the Điện Biên provincial Border Guard Command has, in recent years, implemented numerous solutions and diversified communication methods to bring legal knowledge to people living along the border. These efforts have contributed significantly to maintaining political stability, social order, and safeguarding the nation’s territorial sovereignty.

ĐBP - In recent times, many localities across the province have worked closely with law-enforcement agencies to intensify public awareness campaigns, encouraging residents to voluntarily hand over weapons, explosives, and support tools (WES). These efforts aim to create “weapon-free areas,” ensuring community safety and peace. The determined involvement of authorities at all levels has helped prevent violations and protect the well-being of citizens.

ĐBP - The scent of fresh plaster still lingers inside a newly built resettlement house in Háng Pu Xi village, Xa Dung commune, Điện Biên province. On the wall, resident Mùa A Minh has already hung a framed portrait of President Hồ Chí Minh in the most honored spot, as a gesture of gratitude. His wife is busy sweeping and arranging belongings, preparing to move into their new home.

ĐBP - Điện Biên province currently has more than 60,000 elderly people, a vulnerable group due to weakened immune systems and the prevalence of chronic diseases.

ĐBP - According to data from the Điện Biên Statistics Office, from November 15, 2024, to July 14, 2025, the province recorded 14 fire incidents, a 75% increase compared to the same period last year, with total property damage estimated at over VND 2.5 billion (up 76.14%). On average, Điện Biên has experienced two fires per month in the first eight months of 2025. The main causes were identified as carelessness in using open flames and electrical equipment malfunctions.

However, alongside its tremendous benefits, social media also carries many challenges. Therefore, each individual should use these platforms positively to spread humanistic values, inspire others, and build a healthy and civilized online community.

ĐBP - The risk of fires and explosions at warehouses and production workshops remains a constant threat, underscoring the need for stronger prevention, inspections, and enforcement from authorities, as well as greater compliance from businesses and household operations.

ĐBP - Alongside a focus on academic quality, in recent years many schools have paid increasing attention to creating a happy learning environment for students. In such places, children not only learn math, literature, and other subjects but also practice life skills, are respected and listened to, and are encouraged to express themselves.

ĐBP - Today, many families equip their children with electric motorbikes or 50cc scooters to get to school. However, some students still lack awareness and responsibility in following traffic rules, making these vehicles a potential safety risk. To minimize accidents, in addition to inspections and enforcement by authorities, schools and parents need to work closely together on communication and education to build traffic safety awareness among students.
