In response, local authorities are making efforts to find sustainable solutions for the agricultural sector, focusing on crop restructuring and building effective production-consumption linkages.

Finding stable, sustainable markets not only minimizes the issue of “bumper harvests but low prices,” but also lays a solid foundation for the development of agriculture in a modern, efficient, and long-term direction.

ĐBP - By promoting the application of scientific and technological advances in production and processing, farmers in Tuần Giáo district, Điện Biên province are gradually increasing the productivity, quality, and value of agricultural products, contributing to sustainable poverty reduction in the area.

Prolonged droughts, cold spells, and frost have damaged many crops, leading to reduced yields and quality of agricultural products. In response to this, the provincial Department of Agriculture and Environment has proactively implemented a range of measures to effectively combat climate change.
