Special art performance celebrates 75th anniversary of the Điện Biên Provincial Party Committee

ĐBP - A special art performance titled "The Party - Everlasting Trust" was held on Wednesday evening at Điện Biên Phủ City’s Square to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of the Điện Biên Provincial Party Committee (October 10, 1949 – October 10, 2024).

The performance of ‘Our Hearts Are Purer Remembering Uncle Hồ’. 

The art performance was divided into two parts: "The Party's Flag Shines Bright" and "On the Path to a New Era."

The first part featured songs and dances praising the Party, President Hồ Chí Minh, and the nation’s heroic revolutionary tradition, with notable pieces such as The Dark Days Before the Party, Our Hearts Are Purer Remembering Uncle Hồ, On Him Lam Hill, and October Song.

The second part highlighted Điện Biên’s transformation over years of persistent development, showcasing its progress alongside other regions. Standout performances included Shining Điện Biên, Điện Biên – The Epic Land, Điện Biên – The City in My Heart, and On the Path to a New Era.

The programme was performed by a collective of artists and actors from the Provincial Arts Troupe and the Cultural-Cinema Centre.

The art performance attracts a large crowd of locals and tourists.

The "The Party - Everlasting Trust" art performance commemorated the 75-year journey of formation, growth, and development of the Điện Biên Provincial Party Committee. It reflected on the significance and value of the major achievements made by the Provincial Party Committee, authorities, armed forces, and people of Điện Biên over the past 75 years.

The event also aimed to ignite pride in the glorious revolutionary tradition of the Provincial Party Committee, while strengthening the political resolve of Điện Biên’s ethnic groups in their mission to build and defend the Fatherland. It reaffirmed the great accomplishments of the Provincial Party Committee in the development of Điện Biên Province.
