The program was attended by distinguished guests, including: Trần Quốc Cường, Member of the Central Party Committee, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee; Phạm Đức Toàn, Member of the Standing Board of the provincial Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee; and various leaders of local departments and agencies.

In his opening speech, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Vừ A Bằng emphasized that the program is a connection between the past, present, and future, portraying a period when the entire population responded to the Party’s call to take up arms. The performances included famous songs that emphasized the monumental significance and value of the Điện Biên Phủ Victory, the historic Great 1975 Spring Victory, the South Liberation and National Reunification Day, and the role of President Hồ Chí Minh in the nation’s struggle for independence.

The program aimed to ignite a sense of pride and gratitude toward President Hồ Chí Minh, to honor the heroes and martyrs, and to reflect on the achievements of the nation, especially the accomplishments of Điện Biên province. It also highlighted the aspirations for a prosperous future under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

The artistic program was divided into two chapters. The first chapter was a timeless heroic epic, celebrating the great struggles for national independence and the leadership of the Party and President Hồ Chí Minh. The second chapter, titled “The appointment of peace,” illustrated the transformation of Điện Biên Phủ from a battlefield to a symbol of peace, friendship, and cooperation, rising alongside the nation.

Following the art program, a lively and colorful music night took place at the Provincial Stadium, featuring popular singers like Anh Tú, Hòa Minzy, Đỗ Hoàng Hiệp, and others. Their upbeat and well-known songs resonated with the youth, creating an exciting atmosphere as thousands of audience members responded enthusiastically. The audience lit up the night with their phone flashlights, creating a dazzling sea of lights while singing along with the performers, which made for a memorable and emotional experience.

The artistic program is expected to become a high-quality annual cultural event, honoring the historical significance of the country, and leaving a lasting impression on the hearts of audiences across Vietnam.

The event was a success, further solidifying Điện Biên’s legacy and connection with the national identity.
