Amidst solidly built comrades, Captain Nguyễn Thị Quỳnh, a staff officer of the Training Advisory Team, Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union branch, and Vice Chairwoman of the Grassroots Women’s Union of the Mobile Police Division under the provincial Police, possesses a petite stature. However, looking at her stature alone to imagine her line of work would be misleading. Over the years, she has grown accustomed to the training grounds, lesson plans, and missions demanding meticulous preparation and decisive execution.

Graduating from the Armed Police Intermediate School, in 2017 she was assigned to work at the Mobile Police Division under the provincial Police. Captain Quỳnh recalled that upon joining the unit, she determined to strive even harder, as the work places high demands on physical strength, technical skills, discipline, and endurance under pressure. She noted that while she initially struggled with certain drills, thinking that being a woman made things harder would only set limits on herself.

She practiced extra hours after regular training sessions, proactively observed comrades, asked about unclear matters, and noted down specific requirements for each drill to adjust her technique. Her professional maturity was forged through such repeated efforts. The profession taught her that true fortitude is not acquired after overcoming a single challenge, but built through repeatedly facing difficult tasks and choosing to pursue them to the very end.

Serving as an officer in the Training Advisory Team, the work behind each training plan requires no less precision and caution than hours spent on the training field. Each training curriculum must closely follow mission requirements, operational plans must account for emerging scenarios, and logistical guarantees must be thoroughly prepared.

Captain Nguyễn Thị Quỳnh shared that a good plan must closely reflect reality so that officers and soldiers can execute requirements accurately and safely upon deployment. Through her years of service, she has realized that advisory work allows no room for subjectivity. Even a minor detail, if not carefully calculated from the start, can cause problems during execution; thus, experience brings greater initiative while serving as a constant reminder to exercise utmost caution in every task.

Her professional dedication has been recognized through competitions, sports events, and professional skill contests with numerous awards and accolades. However, what brings her the greatest pride is the opportunity to validate the knowledge and skills accumulated throughout her career.

Youth Union and Women’s Union works have enabled Captain Nguyễn Thị Quỳnh to bring her strengths into full play. As Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union branch, she joins the executive committee in organizing traditional education activities, member training, voluntary campaigns, and community-oriented programs. She and her comrades have been present in disaster-stricken areas to help evacuate property to safety, join search and rescue efforts, overcome disaster aftermaths, and help local residents quickly stabilize their lives.

Captain Quỳnh shared that Youth Union work gives her the chance to stay closer to comrades, as each person has a distinct personality, background, and forte, yet when missions arise - especially unexpected and arduous ones - everyone must unite toward a single goal. To rally union members, one must listen, share, and above all lead by example so that comrades trust and join in.

For consecutive years, she has been recognized as an exemplary female officer of the provincial Police following her contributions to Women’s Union affairs, emulation movements, social security activities, and contests organized across various levels and sectors.

Sharing her thoughts on Captain Nguyễn Thị Quỳnh, Lieutenant Colonel Lò Thùy Anh, Head of the Women’s Board under the provincial Police, stated that what is most commendable about Quỳnh is her proactive spirit and responsibility in every assignment. From generating ideas, preparing contents, and mobilizing members to executing programs, she consistently displays creativity, thoroughness, and bridging ability. Many community-oriented activities involving the Grassroots Women’s Union of the Mobile Police Division have been carried out in a practical and relatable manner, creating widespread influence among members and deepening union work.

Throughout nine years of service at the Mobile Police Division, years of tempering within a highly disciplined environment have endowed Captain Nguyễn Thị Quỳnh with the steadfast mettle of a mature officer. Beyond the drill ground, as intense exercises continue and professional standards demand utmost concentration and precision, she continues striving to learn, accomplishing assigned tasks well, and accumulating valuable experience across every mission.
