In 2026, Regiment 82 was tasked by the Party Committee and Command of Division 355 with training 950 new recruits from four provinces: Điện Biên, Lai Châu, Sơn La, and Phú Thọ. After three months of training, with a proactive, creative, and competitive spirit of “overcoming the sun, defeating the rain, and passionately practicing,” the new recruit training units completed 100% of the training contents, programs, and plans.

The “three explosions” test at the conclusion of the training met the requirements set out in the Resolution. The new soldiers have achieved comprehensive maturity in political awareness, sense of discipline, combat technical proficiency, physical fitness, and soldierly mettle. The test results for all training contents met the designated requirements, with good and excellent ratings reaching 94% or higher.

At the ceremony, the new recruits performed the oath ritual under the Determined to Win Flag, expressing their determination to be absolutely loyal to the Party, the Fatherland, and the people, and standing ready to accept and successfully complete all assigned tasks.

The oath ceremony is an important milestone, confirming the maturity of each soldier after a period of studying and training in the military environment.

Speaking at the ceremony, the leadership of Division 355 praised the results achieved by the officers and soldiers during the 2026 new recruit training season. Concurrently, they requested the units to continue strictly maintaining regular habits, enhancing training quality and combat readiness, contributing to building a comprehensively strong unit, and excellently completing all assigned tasks.
