Provincial Party Secretary Trần Tiến Dũng visits Điện Biên soldiers

ĐBP - On the occasion of the 72nd anniversary of the Điện Biên Phủ Victory (May 7, 1954 - 2026), on May 7, Trần Tiến Dũng, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Điện Biên provincial Party Committee, and Head of the provincial National Assembly Deputy Delegation, visited and presented gifts to families of Điện Biên soldiers in Điện Biên Phủ ward.

Joining the program were leaders from the provincial People’s Council, the provincial People’s Committee, the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, and various provincial departments, alongside the Party Committee, People’s Council, and People’s Committee of Điện Biên Phủ ward.

Provincial Party Secretary Trần Tiến Dũng and the working delegation visited and gave gifts to two families of Điện Biên soldiers, namely Nguyễn Hữu Chấp (born 1931) in Residential Group 20 and Bùi Kim Điều (born 1930) in Residential Group 9.

At each home, Trần Tiến Dũng offered kind inquiries and encouragement while expressing deep gratitude for the immense contributions made by the Điện Biên Soldiers during the Điện Biên Phủ Campaign.

Trần Tiến Dũng expressed his wish for the Điện Biên soldiers to continue living happily and healthily, serving as a spiritual pillar for their children and grandchildren. He also hoped they would continue to promote revolutionary traditions, set bright examples, and educate the younger generation to actively study and labor, thereby contributing to the renovation and development of the Điện Biên homeland.
