During the working trip, the Secretary also extended New Year greetings to the staff of the Điện Biên Press, Radio, and Television, as well as the personnel of Viettel Điện Biên.

The delegation included Nguyễn Minh Phú, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, along with leaders of the provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Education, Dissemination, and Mass Mobilization.

At the home of the late Secretary Lò Văn Puốn in Him Lam 1 village, Điện Biên Phủ ward, Secretary Trần Tiến Dũng and the delegation respectfully offered incense to express deep gratitude for the late leader’s significant contributions to the development of Điện Biên.

During the visit, Trần Tiến Dũng affirmed that the province’s leadership and people always remember the dedication of those who gave their wisdom and passion to the locality. He encouraged the family to continue their revolutionary traditions and educate the younger generation to follow the examples of their predecessors in building a civilized and prosperous homeland. On the occasion of the new year, the provincial Party Secretary wished the family health and peace.

While visiting the Điện Biên Press, Radio, and Television, Secretary Trần Tiến Dũng commended the unit’s efforts in reflecting all aspects of political and socio-economic life, which has helped create public consensus for local development.

Regarding the requirements of the new era, he requested that the agency proactively embrace modern journalism trends, accelerate digital transformation, and develop multi-platform broadcasting. He emphasized the production of digital content tailored to diverse audience groups while maintaining accuracy and the core role of the revolutionary press in a digital media environment. On the occasion of the New Year, he wished all reporters and technicians success and expressed confidence in their continued innovation to meet the dissemination needs of the new situation.

At the Viettel Điện Biên, Secretary Trần Tiến Dũng highly appreciated the unit’s pioneering role in telecommunications infrastructure and its contribution to the province’s digital transformation. In his orientation for future tasks, he suggested that Viettel Điện Biên should accelerate the implementation of applications for digital government, economy, and society.

He particularly highlighted the development of services linked to smart tourism to promote the province’s image and enhance the visitor experience. He expressed his belief that the unit would continue to overcome challenges to complete its business targets and accompany Điện Biên in sustainable socio-economic development.
