Joining the delegation were Members of the Standing Board of the provincial Party Committee, leaders of the provincial People’s Committee, and leaders of several provincial boards, departments, and sectors.
Visiting and working with the officers and soldiers of the Si Pa Phìn Border Post, provincial Party Committee Secretary Trần Tiến Dũng acknowledged and praised the results achieved by the unit in executing various aspects of border guard work during the first six months of the year.
Emphasizing the tasks for the coming period, the Secretary requested that the Si Pa Phìn Border Post continue to strengthen cooperation to build a border line of peace, friendship, cooperation, and development. The unit must proactively grasp situations, drastically fight against various types of crimes, particularly drug-related offenses, and enhance area control to prevent subjects from exploiting the border line to transport or smuggle drugs into the locality.
The Secretary also urged the Si Pa Phìn Border Post to maintain close coordination with local party committees and authorities to propagate and mobilize the public to actively participate in the effective implementation of production development support projects, crop structure conversion, and agricultural restructuring.
As off-budget investment projects are expected to be deployed in the area in the near future, the Secretary requested the officers and soldiers of the Si Pa Phìn Border Post to coordinate with local authorities to step up propaganda work and generate public consensus. Concurrently, they must strengthen residency and land management, contributing to ensuring security and order while creating favorable conditions for investors to deploy projects in strict accordance with regulations.
Conducting a field survey at Nà Sự community-based tourism village in Mường Chà, Secretary Trần Tiến Dũng and the working delegation inspected the actual infrastructure system serving tourism development, homestay business households, traditional cultural spaces, the environmental landscape, and tourist reception activities of the local people. The delegation also listened to local leaders report on the development results of the community-based tourism model, highlighting advantages, difficulties, and recommendations to upgrade the quality of tourism products.
During the survey, Secretary Trần Tiến Dũng acknowledged the efforts of the party committee, local authority, and residents in developing the community-based tourism village. He suggested that the locality continue to efficiently exploit the traditional cultural values of ethnic minorities, preserve the landscape, and maintain environmental hygiene. Attention should be focused on investing in complete infrastructure, upgrading service quality, building signature tourism products, and boosting promotion to attract visitors.
The Secretary also required relevant departments and sectors to coordinate and support the locality in untangling difficulties, creating favorable conditions for Nà Sự community-based tourism village to achieve sustainable development. This will help it become an attractive destination, contributing to driving socio-economic growth and upgrading public income.
